I would have given a 5 but since my visit today I had to give it a 3. Before the pandemic my family and I would come once a week. Today was our 3rd visit after 4 months of not coming. I was very comfortable because I would order my pizza fresh so I didn’t have to worry about little kids coughing and touch the pizza on the buffet. But today when I was waiting for the person at the register to give me my cups and silverware, I seen that every person in the back was not wearing a mask. Even the manager coming out of the cooler pulled his mask below his mouth and proceeded to walk through the rest of the back area uncovered. I realize it’s not the most comfortable thing to wear, but when working in the food industry it is a must for customers who care like myself and family. Unfortunately we will not be coming back. Those same employees that were in the back with the mask hanging off of their ear later came to the front with the mask properly on their face. This letting me know that they knew they were to wear the masks properly but were only doing so in front of customers. The most important time to wear them is when you’re around food that people are putting in their bodies. Even after out of the oven there were no masks being worn handling the food to window. One of the girls didn’t even have a mask on her ear or anywhere to be seen while making a pizza. I’m very disappointed because I trusted that my family was coming to a location that took precautions at the very least around the food. (I can clean my own tables and plates etc)
In response to the owner:
I understand that in the back it is hot as they are working around the food. I require my workers who work on hotter roofs to wear masks and they do so for over 10 hours a day. (I just provide them with comfortable masks) my concern wasn’t just when they are making the food, it’s more of the finished product being handled by someone breathing on it. It’s great that measures are taken prior to a shift start and like you said I’m sure there’s not a right solution for everyone. My best friend has COVID along with her son and they do not have symptoms, yet the father was just released from the the hospital after 18 days.
I pray for your business And employees and hope we can all enjoy the food and nice employees at your establishment that my family very much...
Read moreReviews should be based on the genre and class the location aligns with not some ideal or disjointed other. You don't compare a four course Italian with street tacos or an intimate coffee house with Golden Corral and Pizza Ranch is very much in the Golden Corral vein if Golden Corral really cared about service, execution and value. Is this the best pizza I've ever had, no but this is far far from Cici's and was quite enjoyable and if I was 8 it would be my go to restaurant.
The pizza is the star and you have lots of options all of which you can have made your way with four different crusts all of which are not bad. The backup country food is surprisingly solid, the fried potato chips are the best I have had in fast food, the stuffing and gravy is ok leaning to good. The chicken is ok but honestly is something I expected more from and was a letdown in terms of spice and texture.
The soda is old school top quality and one shouldn't get excited about candy water but it is such a rare sight and there was no attempt to water it down that it is worth a comment in a world full of 1001 possible mixes freestyle machines where everything tastes bad.
The service was great but would advise coming as soon as they open, the location gets hectic fast and nothing is better that fresh hot pizza.
The decor is ok and was designed minimally with a western trope for children so what can you really say.
All in all for this genre and style it punched well above its class and we would return; honestly not just us but any fundraiser or child team outing would be perfect.
If anything the real question is how long can they keep this up before quality wanings and this becomes just one more sad cash grab buffet? Until then...
Read moreHorrible place. Was referred this place by a friend as a place to take my daughter. The food was pretty bad. If I wanted bad food I'd go to McDonald's so I didn't waste as much money on it, and I never eat at McDonald's. We spent almost $30 to get in the door to not even eat a full plate. We actually left hungry and had to eat at a different place.
The pizza choices were variable. They never had a solid menu just grabbed random flavors and dropped them out. If you wanted a basic cheese or basic pepperoni pizza you were waiting 30 mins then fighting a swarm of adults pushing kids put of the way to get that pizza. They put tomatoes on every possible pizza they can, even if there shouldn't be tomatoes on a pizza to begin with... the red sauce is enough tomato as it is. They limited our scope of pizzas due to adding food people can be and are allergic to. Could not try the chicken counter due to the next paragraph below.
That negative about having an arcade in a restaurant is unattended tables.I am a single mother. I had to leave my table unattended to take my daughter to the game room. We came back and they had cleaned our table off completely. Threw our drinks away. We had our jackets and belongings at the table. When questioned about it the teenager looked and me and ignored me. He then waved his friend over and pointed at me and laughed. The "manager" was of no help. This place was run by teenagers. A girl admitted to being under 16 and not able to help with most things. Not one actual responsible adult could be found working at this place. We had got our drinks replaced but were not given another table. We could...
