I came in later in the evening so it wasnāt as busy. however my experience was wonderful warm and down right amazing. The minuet I came in it felt inviting and right after sitting my bartender, Robert, immediately asked how I was and how my evening was and if I had anything in mind. First this manās charisma and inviting personality is exactly what you want, not only in a speakeasy but honestly any bar. After sitting and deciding on a drink, that I honestly wanted to see if I could stump Robert on. when I asked for An avation, that no one has ever been able to make me, he does.
this was my first and let me tell you it was amazing. The gin was forward but delicate and all the other flavors were there but no one overpowered the other. it was a heavenly mouthfeel and frankly surprised me but in a good way. After this Robert made me every drink no fail and didnāt disappoint.
After a few more normal drinks i figured Iād order a drink no oneās ever made good and never made me finish, a sazarac. I have ordered many sazaracs over the year and always been disappointed in it. Robertās sazarac was the first I ever finished I almost ordered a second. The knowledge this man has on his craft is spectacular and frankly he should be proud of his skill as a mixologist.
I really do hope the people he trains learn from his skill and forward this speakeasy to great heights. I hope this place stays for a long time, and I for one will be going back not only for the drink and their great experience they bring, but also the calm welcoming enviornmeny plus the kind people who I had many quant and wonderful conversations with.
Also as a self proclaimed drink lover the one drink I judge all places by is their old fashioned.
Robert made this wonderfully and smoked. Iāve been to Kentucky and had their old fashioned and Iād say itās second best, to my pallet, but regardless it was smooth, luxurious(mouthfeel) and left a wonderful flavor through Aroma and flavor. It made me honestly enjoy and...

We just got up and left. A nod or smile would have been acceptable. We were totally ignored, this was our first time here and our last. We went down the street and got great service at a different bar. The other place had time to talk to customers and...
