I had a horrible experience at the flea market on 7/16/17. I was at a non reserved spot & there were 3 or 4 reserved spots still open right next to mine. My father was parked in a reserved spot which he arrived at after 7 and was told by a vendor that if no one claims it after 7 he can have that so he parked there. Hours later we notice a few people by the vehicle my father was driving so he walked down there to see what was going on; meanwhile I was approached by a man who didn't introduce himself and asked me if knew who truck that was and began questioning me in a rude manner. I was cooperative and answered his questions as I explained it wasn't even my vehicle and that my father was down there right now handling the situation and he stomped off demanding that we must pay for the other spot that my father was parked in even though no one was using the multiple reserved spots around them nor did they need that spot that was being occupied. After a few minutes I went to assist my father to see what the problem was indeed and was told that I was being unprofessional because of my mannerism by explaining to them the situation, The elderly man in the blue shirt who apparently worked there who failed to address who he was was irate and told me to never come back and kicked me out because its a private establishment and they can do what they want according to them. Rude staff if I could give zero stars I would Iv'e never seen someone be so petty.. Next time if you don't want to have someone get angry and come up to you maybe you should try to interrogate and hassle the correct person for the $25 dollars seeing as how I already paid my money. Feel discriminated and hope that this post helps people avoid that grumpy old man because this isn't his first complaint (don't think he will be around much longer with his age and the way he treats people) talking to the people around me they told me that hes been rude to them as well threatening people to put items back in the car over one...
Read moreWe were visiting the area and someone told us about the flea market. We got there and the flea market looked like a good one but as we started walking around we were told it was illegal to have dogs there. Note that we were told this in front of the vendor selling shotguns. I'm not picking on the selling of guns, I thoroughly support that, but it is funny that I was told to get my 20 lb lap dogs out of the city park. In the end, we did leave because it was too hot to leave them in the truck and I didn't care for their policies. It is their city and they can chose to make the laws they want but I get to chose where I...
Read moreAs a vendor I'd only give it 3 stars. It's a nice area and is pretty large I like being outdoors. This play doesn't have much variety patron-wise. Lots of smoking. I wanted to bring my dog but they told me no and then I saw at least 5 people with their dogs every time. Depending on the weather and the location we could get decided how much money we made which was never a whole lot. Probably spent more renting the place than making profit. Hard to...
