Church's Texas Chicken — Restaurant in Weslaco

My 5 star has just gone down to 1 here's why. I never got my order. I waited over 30 minutes and had to go up and ask only to be ask, "you haven't received your order?" During the 30 minute, I saw that they were taking care of drive-through and everyone else walking in. It was not what I would call overly busy for them to forget about my order. I was told we'll get it right out, no apology from any one so I asked for a refund and even after everything still no apology whatsoever. I did not feel like a valued customer There's a lot of work that needs to be done here in training the employees and whoever is in charge of them because the young lady that approved the refund didn't bother to inquiry what the problem was and I wasn't even being rude. Anyone else would have made a scandal. It is not the first time something had happened here. This was the second. The first was ending up with a plastic thing from the machines and when I returned it the next day. They just took it and closed the window. I had to ask for manager in charge and he...

Today's visit is mixed... when arriving and placing order (16 mix pk) was asked to drive up (annoying when they don't tell you prices 🙄 like it's going to change(which maybe they do that cause of the situation) ). Upon arriving at window was told it be 20min for white meat to come out but was told other meats was ready. Up on agreeing status changed to 15min wait time on reg meat, to which I'd fig I'd wait for white meat but the personnel looked confused??? I just agreed to 15 min wait by that time. After waiting slightly over 15min they took my order to the wrong vehicle and had to verbally call employee over prior to them walking back in. Good thing order was verified prior to leaving since it was missing a side. Overall the window employees vibe was good just complete experience...

Hey everyone, I ordered dinner this evening paid with a coupon I found in the ads. from Churches . Customer service was good no problem with communication. They told me it would be a 10min. wait. It was a big order I didn’t mind waiting. They asked if I can park in the front for my order… I got my order 10 mins. later. Very satisfied customer. BUT… there was a surprise waiting for me at home..I found this ancestor chicken strip, looks like it’s been sitting in there for days. I moved it aside and continued to serve Mash and Mac The chicken was very rushed ,very tough, stale no flavor and very hard to chew. The batter they used was made out of rocks. Very unsatisfying.
