Rainbow Shops — Local services in Weslaco

This was my favorite store in Weslaco because the style is very modern and close compared to driving all the way to Mercedes and Mcallen. Not until today, the two older ladies working there were very rude to me when all wanted to was shop. As soon as I got there they gave me ugly looks as if I didn’t belong there. They stared at my tattoos and I guess discriminated me from there. They kept following me and sharing secrets within eachother when they could’ve just asked “do you need any help for today”. They were not doing the same to the other customers that were there so they obviously had something against me. This is not the first time it happens to me there and especially with those older ladies. I have nothing against the store itself because it’s very convenient but please be aware that customer service also plays an important role. People feel safe with a smile or even when employees atleast act as if they cared. When I was done paying I told cashier (one of the old ladies) that they were very rude to me and that I didn’t felt welcomed shopping there and she just shrug off everything I said and didn’t even care to apologize. I also told her I was going give store a review with my experience there and she said “ I don’t care about this place anyway” when she literally treated me as someone who doesn’t deserve respect because of my tattoos. They have a cute selection of clothing at affordable prices. This locations sales floor is overcrowded with merchandise fixtures and is a bit difficult to comfortably shop. I would be concerned that the sales floor is not ADA compliant. It would be a big challenge to maneuver around in a wheelchair with all of the overloaded clothing racks. Saw this store on our way to Buffalo Wild Wings and thought to go after thinking it could be a cute store for my teen age girls. Walked in and walked out.
