Brass Boar's Den Pub — Restaurant in West Allis

Yippee ki-yay, folks! I just had the pleasure of checking out Brass Boar's Den, and let me tell you, it's the real deal. This dive bar may have had a makeover, but it hasn't lost its edge.

First off, the drinks. Brass Boar's Den has got a killer selection of libations that won't put a dent in your wallet. I'm talking about beer, whiskey, and all the good stuff. Plus, they've got Jamie, the bartender extraordinaire, who knows how to make a mean cocktail.

But what really impressed me was the vibe of the place. Frank, the owner, and Sammy, the manager, have created a spot that's both laid-back and fun. They've got pool tables, dartboards, and a jukebox that'll make you feel like you're in a movie. And let's not forget about the friendly regulars who are always up for a good time.

Been going to this location under 3 owners. I stopped in and visited 2 bartenders I knew at other bars. I stopped in months ago and I think I was serviced by an owner we talked a bit. All about 5 visits I ordered a rum and diet and paid the standard $4 but this Friday at about 8:45 PM I paid $5.50. After making sure I got a single rail I asked about the price and was told that it was an upscale dive bar or it was upscale and not a drive bar... The only thing I saw change is it was being built as a soccer bar (with small TVs) and one big cooler in the middle front. It's still in the same neighborhood with Tap City being the closest bar, less than a block away. I go to Paulie's Pub & Eatery and they have good food, a band, and I paid $4 like all the other nicer bars in a little bit better area. This is not an upscale anything. I will stick to my Blue collar Packer's bar or to a really nice bar.
