I will never give this location my business. My sister, friend, and I all brought in our kids for ice cream after a fun pool day. We were a total of 3 adults and 8 kids. We were all in a great mood prior to this and the kids were super excited for ice cream. From the very moment we walked in that door, the man at the counter looked instantly annoyed by all of us walking in. I do not know if he just does not like kids or was having a bad day but whatever the reason was, his attitude was very noticeable. The kids lined up to see and pick from the options and anyone who has kids knows they are super indecisive. We as the adults stepped in quickly and tried to rush our kids to pick something so we would not hold up any lines in case people walked in. The man who was taking care of us immediately started talking to us in a very condensing and rude manner directing us where to look for flavors and seemed to become increasingly inpatient trying to rush us all out of there as quickly as he can. When one of kids asked for a certain flavor he said (in a bad tone) the bucket is empty ....you see that. Mind you our kids were NOT ever running around and were all simply in the line excited to pick flavors..... all 8 of them. I later find out this man was the owner! Unbelievable..... I am a small business owner myself and would never ever treat any customers in a rude manner. I have been to Dairy Queen down the street, Yoz Yogurt up the road, etc and the clerks working behind these counters have always been so patient, sweet, and kind especially to the kids when they come in. Anyone who treats customers the way this man did for no reason at all does not deserve...
Read more44 scoops, aw man this one is gonna be brutally honest. As somebody that grew up in the area, you just know it’s not the same and never will be! This place used to be Baskin Robbins. Although ownership remains, it’s just not the same feeling as when you would walk in, when it was Baskin Robbin’s. The ice cream is simply not as good/the selection is not nearly as delicious and enticing of an assortment as it used to be + outrageously costly prices. Sometimes- the name pays!! #Marketing101. Even if keeping it under Baskin-Robbins would have been more costly or whatever the reason may have been- it would have been lucrative in the long run. In cities like WB, key spots hold nostalgic value. From a marketing perspective, the name change + ice cream supplier switch really casts a shadow on what...
Read moreStopped in here the other day... They weren't very busy so I got served right away. The girl behind the counter was super nice and helpful and answered any questions I had about where some of their ice cream was from and what their flavors were.
Place was clean and had a bunch of other little trinkets for sale such as candy and souvenirs. Overall this is one of those types of ice cream shops that you like to visit because they have so many flavors and it's all hand dip. Went with a double scoop and a cup. Would have totally given this place five stars if I didn't feel like the portion sizes were way too small to warrant the price that they're asking for it. Maybe it's me but is everyone just really skimping out on portion sizes of ice cream lately and still charging even more than...
