Leo's Coney Island — Restaurant in West Bloomfield Township

I walked into this Leo’s for lunch during my lunch break. The waitress asked me if I wanted something to drink. I asked if they had coke or Pepsi and ordered a coke. She went to get my drink when she came back she asked what do you want I gave her my order. No substitutions nothing out of the ordinary. She drops off my food and disappears. I had to ask her coworker to have her run my billl because she was already at the computer. It would have taken an extra 30 seconds. Anyone who has been a server should know receipt finally came back to me and it was from the server who had run my bill. I signed it and tried to flag down my server multiple times for a box she brought back a box and demanded I hand over my signed check. I had originally given her $5 but after being ignored so many times I crossed it out and put in a dollar for the taxes she would have to pay on my check. I am so disappointed at the service just because I was dining alone. I left my plates stacked and all my trash on said plate. I would hope Katie learned how to serve after 12 years of doing it. I understand that it was busy but she could have acknowledged that I was trying to get her attention and said give me a moment. I have ordered carryout from here a few times, and delivery almost a dozen times via Doordash.

I have told my wife that we are NOT going to order from here anymore. I am tried of giving them a try. Out of 12+ times of ordering here, they have messed up 10 of them.

1. Order has been wrong numerous times. They forget to give you at least one item, but have had 2+ items missing more than once. It just happened again last night. We tell Doordash, and they credit us back the missing items...who cares about refunding me for the items you missed... I didnt get my food!

2. I had their garden salad...which was TOTAL GARBAGE. They forgot the bacon and avocado on there... they have NO quality checks. The crispy chicken was almost non-existent, and they were tough little bits and pieces of trash chicken.

3. While I know many places mix up and make their own ranch...and while I generally like all Leo's ranch.... the mixture of garbage they call 'ranch dressing' was inedible last night.

4. They dont pay attention when you call in carryouts either. I can attest to that.

I like Leo's Coney, we go to many different ones...I am disappointed that this is the Leo's that delivers via Doordash to us... they are lazy and willing to serve/sell you subpar food......

I brought a client here for lunch. When we walked in the door, I knew it was a mistake. The looks of disgust were loud and clear. Our waitress was cool enough, and my client was hungry, so I didn’t walk out. When my food came, it looked more like a prank than lunch. We went to the restroom. We were watched the entire time. When it was time to pay, the chick at the register seemed pleased with declining the visa gift card that I was given by my job. I’ve used this same card at a different Leo’s, so I called them for advice. This place ABSOLUTELY couldn’t accept payment. I’ve never seen a business that was so eager to not collect what was owed. There were no signs stating what payment they did not accept. I called my job, they payed over the phone. I wasn’t embarrassed, if that’s what they were going for. I was irritated and disturbed. If I could give zero stars, I definitely would. And if my story wasn’t enough of a warning not to eat here, the food itself should be. My chili fries were almost bare, and they charged me a dollar for a small cup of chili to supplement it. It was so unbelievably wrong, I had to photograph it and send it...
