Tubby's Sub Shop — Restaurant in West Bloomfield Township

I might be a bit biased about Tubby's because my very first job was working at one when I was 16 (25 years ago!).

Even after all these years, the subs taste as amazing today as they did back then. Talk about consistency!

I stopped in this Tubby's for lunch recently and it was honestly one of the best experiences I've ever had at a fast food place.

The older gentleman who greeted me and took my order was a pure delight. Friendly, warm and to the point would be the best way to describe him.

After sitting down to eat my lunch, he even made the effort to check on me. Are you kidding me? How awesome is that!

At most fast food places once you order and pay for your food you're just an invisible presence. Not here. It almost sounds weird to say but I got the feeling that the people here genuinely wanted me to enjoy my visit and lunch.

Yes me and my wife and 8 year old were in there and I generally don't give a bad review unless it's earned! so we ordered two subs and French fries we never recieved the fries and the subs had very little meat on them and when my wife had called up the manager got really defensive with us and wouldn't correct the issue!!sad really when im trying to support a buisness during these difficult times!all the gentleman had to do is correct it he did acknowledge the fries but that was it!whoever is running this place please fix the problems at your establishment the service was fast but the product wasn't up to par! Ordered a large cheesesteak online, and paid an extra $3.50 for it to be “jumbo” (extra meat and cheese). The amount of meat and cheese I received is far less than any normal cheesteak. I paid $15 for this joke of a sandwich, which was mostly bread with a tiny bit of meat and cheese. I called them on the phone about it, and the guy argued with me. If he had just refunded me the $3.50, I wouldn’t be leaving this review. If I’m in the mood for a cheesesteak from now on, I’ll go to Lefty’s. It’s not cheap either, but at least they give you a fair amount of food.
