Frank's Trattoria (West Caldwell) — Restaurant in West Caldwell

Went there on Friday, May 3, 2019. Haven't gone there in a while now I remember why. A simple order of a turkey and provolone sub turned into a complete disaster. All I asked for was mayonnaise to be added to the sandwich. The waitress couldn't even speak English properly. The sub sandwich comes out and of course there's no mayonnaise on it. I point this out that a waitress, she says " you want it maya". She takes the sandwich and returns about 5 minutes later. Guess what the sandwich returns with no mayonnaise. I pointed that again sandwich disappears and comes back again with no mayonnaise. When I asked her in English what she's been doing with the sandwich and there's no mayonnaise she just walks away. Another employee approached me and said she can give me mayonnaise for me to put on myself. I explained to her this is why I came to a restaurant otherwise it could have gone home to make my own sandwich. That employee rolls her eyes and takes the sandwich away. The other day I ordered, Frank’s Trattoria (West Caldwell), for lunch. I got their Pepperoni, Chicken Parmesan, & Plain Slice’s. From the toppings and the cheese(s), to the sauce. This place was phenomenal! Their pep & plain slices were a solid 9/10. Excellent flavor, and great texture!! the Chicken Parm slice was extremely sub par though. Was really disappointed. But the pep and plain slices GREATLY impacts my total score. The person who took my order was very rude. I asked if I could leave a tip, they vehemently expressed that they ‘do not need tips, they’ll be ok.’ Their pepperoni and plain pizza was really, really good. Like borderline top 5. This place deserves 0 stars or less! I ordered on door dash the food came DISGUSTING. The chicken came with sauce leaking from the bag and the pasta was a different sauce than what was on the chicken. I called the restaurant and spoke with JOHNNY & EDDIE who both argued with me that “well what do you want me to do he’s just a pizza guy” come in I’ll make you pasta. Then he said I’ll refund you and I call the next day and the story was completely opposite. He said the managers and bosses do deliveries and kept lying after lying!
