The food was delicious. No complaints with the food at all. But the service was awful. My husband and I wanted to order take out. The hostess wasn't the friendliest girl I've met. She told us to go to the bar to order. So we go to the bar and wait and wait for the bartender to help us. Finally she comes over and I tell her we would like to place a take order. She tells me someone else will have to take it and walks away. After e few minutes another employee walks over to us and asks if he can take our order. He was nice and tells us it will be 20 to 25 minutes. My husband and I decide to wait outside. After about 20 minutes I go back in to see if our order is ready. I see a bag sitting on a counter behind the hostess stand. I tell the hostess I'm there to pick up a take out order. She again tells me to go to the bar. I ask if the bag behind her is mine. Without looking at it she tells it's not. I assume she must know who's order it is. I walk to the bar. Once again I was ignored by the bartender. I stood there for at least 5 minutes when the person who took our order sees me and walks over. He tells me he put the order on the counter. Guess where! Yep! Behind the hostess stand!! By this time I'm just aggravated and want to go home. I look around and can't find d the hostess. So I just grabbed the bag and walked out. I understand places are short-staffed, but this experience was very disappointing and frustrating even taking that into consideration. I felt invisible and the few people I did approach made me feel like a nuisance. I really don't think I will return to...

I generally love Chuy’s but this was a horrible experience. Our waiter, Drew, was more interested in the guests at the table behind us, both sets of guests, than us.

When I’m out I begin the playing field with each staff member receiving a 25% tip. That goes up or down depending upon the service received. Drew ended up receiving a 15% tip which was generous. He never refilled our drinks, came back to check on us after he brought the dip, explained why it was taking so long for the food, and never even walked up to our table that was beside the table he was doting on.

When he finally delivered our food - 1 taco salad and 3 cheese enchiladas, he never returned to ask if the food was okay, which it was not, it was cold. The taco salad, which was way over priced for the small amount, contained the core of the lettuce, which was iceberg. That, along with several additional pieces of the bottom of the lettuce head, and the stale corn strips made up half of the salad & it was terrible. The meat was cold, dry and old tasting. The $5 salad at Taco Bell would have been better.

I was so upset when I left I could not stop to talk to a manager for fear of becoming that irate customer. I’m just let down by the quality of the food and disgusted by the lack of respect shown by the waiter. If he plans to make any money in any customer service industry he needs to learn the #1 rule - treat each customer the way you want...

My wife and two children arrived, stood at the front for 10 minutes with another couple waiting to be seated. After being seated my wife and I both ordered of the specials board. The special I picked had two enchiladas with pork and boom boom sauce. They didn't have any pork so I asked if it could do 1 beef and 1 chicken our server said yes thats fine. I was upcharged for mixing and matching... when my wife ordered she picked the steak and chicken fajita on the specials board. This is why I am aggravated. The picture of the dish she ordered has a price of $19 and some change beside it. The picture is of a full order of the dish she wanted. Our server asked if she'd like the half portion or the full. My wife ordered the half portion. You would think that a picture of the dish with a price of $19 right beside it would be the price for what's pictured. Well that's wrong apparently. They picture the full order with the price of the half order. Our server was clueless when I questioned the charged at the end of the meal. The manager told me that it should definitely not be like that, told me she would adjust our bill and then left me standing at my table for 15 minutes holding my daughter while she walked around with servers talking to other tables....

Do not eat here, I recently worked here and it is completely infested with roaches. I’ve seen them all over where food comes out from the kitchen through the expo window, where the ice wells are by the beverage stations and even crawling on the counters where your burritos and enchiladas get prepared. I’ve only ever been told “just kill it” and I’ve even seen servers flick them off of other servers or had them flicked off of me. If it’s that bad, why not get it taken care of? Because they don’t care enough about the people that dine there or work there to. If you have the mentality that every restaurant has roaches, that’s false. They have a responsibility to protect you and their staff, yet even after multiple people have come forward with their own complaints, this still is “not an issue” that needs to be addressed.

It's a chain tex mex restaurant that is best described as a Chuck e Cheese TexMex establishment. Seems it may be regional as another location i don't remember it being so "meh." Menu options are very limited and substitutions are not available on a few things because it's pre-made ready for the deep frier. Taco salad, for example has no taco... it's just a salad with a side of italian or honey mustard dressing. Even the requested Chalula hot sauce is in packets (and stale). Tortillas are not fresh and so on. All in all it fills the stomach, not the soul. The churro bites are also very greasy and overly crunchy, like it was fried frozen or something. Ambiance is a mix of old cars and a Mexican cantina with dirty floors from small kids dropping food (Chuck e Cheese). There are better options.
