If I could rate this place a 0 I absolutely would! Yesterday, September 13 at 7 PM a party of 18 of us arrived at Twin Peaks in West Chester after two phone calls that we had to the store to let them know that we would be coming with a party of 18. The first phone call the guy confirmed that he would let the staff know that there would be a party coming at 7 PM. Approximately five minutes later, I called the store back to ask if we could have the patio and again reminded them that we were going to have 18 people coming at 7 PM to watch At that point responded what is your name so that I can put it down and I gave her my name. We get to the restaurant at 7 PM and we were told that unfortunately they do not do reservations and because I did not have names of the people that I had spoke with to give to them there was nothing that they could do. At this point, we have reservations elsewhere, so we decided to split off into groups to afford to be sat at different tables just so that we could eat and leave at this point. The groom gets up and goes outside and notices an eight top and a four top available to which he went to the front manager and asked was there anyway that we could be sat at that table and she responded give her five minutes and she will get it cleaned and then we could sit outside. Five minutes was up. She did not acknowledge us so I walked up to the front to ask her About being sat outside to which she responded extremely rudely in front of other customers that she never had that conversation although there were 17 witnesses at this point. We decided at this point that it wasn’t worth fighting over because we had to hurry up and eat and get out of there so we all split up across the restaurant all separately in order food. At this point, the general manager came over to our table to ask us how everything was going, and I responded and said not so great and gave him the rundown of everything that happened. At this point, he got extremely rude and aggressive, and stated he was present for all three conversations (the 2 telephone conversations as well as when we got in the restaurant) and said that none of those conversations ever happened, basically calling me a liar. However, I have time stamped phone calls of both times that I called Twin Peaks and how long to call lasted they were on speakerphone with my bachelor bachelorette party who also heard those conversations. Also, please note that when we got there, he was not present for the conversation that I had had with the server and the front manager at that time he was just talking out of his ass. I said OK well it looks like at this point. It is what it is and we will not be coming back to which he smiled and said have a fantastic night and walked away from our table to go to the bar to let them know that we Alcohol, although we have not had any up to this point. The general manager was extremely rude. The front manager was also extremely rude. Our dinner for our bachelor/Bachelorette party plans were obviously ruined at this point But it was what it was. We will not be returning, that was honestly the wildest experience A restaurant and I was a server for 10 years. The gaslighting was wild. 10/10 do not recommend and will not be retuning (not like they...
Read more5-12-2024, Our 3rd Mother's Day in a row (besides many other time we visit) and this was, by far, the worse services we've ever rec'd there. Approx 4.30 pm 3 adult mothers and 3 children, 9, 8, and 8 Our waitress started out by telling us how exhausted she was and my daughter said oh has it been busy and she said no I've just worked 35 hrs in 3 days. (I'm thinking to myself, Okay, go home if you're tired and don't feel like doing your job.) Usually the staff is right there to check on you, let you know the food will be out shortly, always asking if you need anything etc. Nope not the case this time. We had to hunt down the girl when we needed anything. Queso was not what we ordered, after I specifically asked for meat in it. Then when questioned about it she said that's the only one we have. False. We get the same one with chili every time. By the time we got the meat the queso was almost gone. Had to wait a long time for chip refill too. Order comes and everything seems fine except one child wanted fries with her grilled cheese sandwich but got mac n cheese so she kindly said I ordered fries and the waitress argued with her and said you ordered mac n cheese I wrote it down. I spoke up and said I heard her, she ordered fries and my friend heard it too. Finally my daughter said I'm not arguing over it just bring her some fries. She brought out some fries and then turned around and charged us for them. We should not have had to pay $4. for those. Upon leaving I asked for the managers name. I call today and Matt was not there after I was told he would be there so I spoke with Bob another manager. He listened to me explain our experience and how disappointed we were. He said it sounded like we had a horrible experience (his words) he also agreed we shouldn't have had to pay for the fries. He thanked me for the call, apologized and said he would use this as a coaching opportunity. I was very very surprised and quite disappointed that he never as much asked if there was anything he could do to make it right. Especially after I said my daughter probably won't be returning. He could have very well done something for us on our next visit. I then called back to ask if they could leave a msg for Matt to call me and the girl answering the phone had the audacity to ask me "what are you hoping to gain from this" I was shocked to think someone would say something like. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. I responded with what the heck kind of question is that. Some people show such a lack of respect when dealing with the public. Listen, if we couldn't afford to go out to eat and tip we would stay home. I'm not looking for something for nothing... just want to get what we order/pay for and want it to be right, and also to be treated with respect. Never ever should you argue with the customer. Come on, seriously. I work retail as well as in a bank and trust me it's all about customer service. That's not asking too much. We've always had good food and great service at Twin Peaks, never had any problems prior to this. Thank you for taking the time to read this review. We might have better luck next time, if there is...
Read moreTwin Peaks is a great take on this type of restaurant, with a wide selection of food, a unique, well executed look, and always lots of beautiful waitresses.
Service is fast and charming, and the food is great. My favorites are the chicken fried chicken or wings at dinner, or a grilled cheese sandwich with chili and sweet potato fries at lunch. The new soft pretzel is delicious, too!
The menu is strictly digital, with a QR code on the table, and has pictures of nearly everything.
It's also a great place to watch sports, with multiple TVs in every direction.
There are multiple options for seating. The bar is enormous, with multiple bartenders (shout out to Emma and Kasey!). The patio has a fire pit and a corner section great for a medium sized party. There's a section with large windows, couches, and a fire place that is begging for a Christmas tree and a snowy evening. Maybe this year!
It can get expensive at dinner if you go for all 3 courses, but can you stay in the $15-$25 range with just an entree and the included sides.
Update: Jaycee convinced me to try the spicy Thai ribs appetizer for the first time, they are delicious!
Another update: The menu has had some minor changes, including removing the Hawaiian pizza, so I've been trying other things, and they're consistently good.
Another update: this was my first time being served by Kinsey here, she's a new server and she's excellent and very attentive.
Great servers that always give great service: Catherine, Hannah, Raquel, Erika, Sophie, Dajuana, Emma, Migniel, Adelaide, Lily, Saki, Liv, Olivia, Olivia T, Julia, Taylee, Kelsey, Kami, Dominique, Maluana, Aslid, Maya, Alexis,...
