My stay was very disappointing! My friend and I planned a spring break mini vacation to Cincinnati from Columbus, with our children 4/5-6/21. Our teenagers specifically selected this hotel apart from the neighboring others, because of the “vibe” they thought they’d experience and pictures for their social media. Well, that expectation nor experience was met! When we arrived, the parking lot had trash all over it ( Starbucks and beer bottles, receipts, food...). Not to mention the large trash can, upon us walking into the building, was overflowing with trash all around it. I told the kids to keep an open mind but that was just the beginning. At check in, my friend was able to obtain her room key and when I attempted to do the same, I was told that my room that should have been ready at 3pm, was not. The reason was that there was only one housekeeper on staff that day and she wasn’t able to handle the cleaning demands on her own. I provided my telephone number to receive a call back when it was ready and waited. Unfortunately the wait meant that I had to inconvenience my friend in her room for 3 additional HOURS, until I finally walked back to the lobby for a status. Imagine 6 people in a small room (because these rooms are small), I was furious! The lady at the front desk, who I should mention was very apologetic and kind, still had not been advised of my room being ready for occupancy. I waited for a few more minutes while she called on the walkie talkie to get an update. Finally I was able to check in around 6:15pm and relocate my children into our room. We lost time at the pool by ourselves because of this, and had to work around others who had already reserved the 6:30pm and up time slots (scheduling due to Covid-19 .) There was no live music, no bar, no breakfast, no vibe. Not to mention there were no restaurants or fast food places open at 9pm nearby. Thankfully we were finally able to get food from an opened WingStop. When we returned with our food, our teenagers didn’t even want to take pictures outside the colorfully fit building due to the trash STILL scattered everywhere outside (as well as when we checked out that following morning). Staffing needs to be improved, cleaning and people need to know that all of the amenities that set this hotel apart from the others are not currently being provided. This needs to be clearly mentioned on your website and third...

Wy wife, child and myself stayed at this hotel last night 8/14/20 and it was hands down the worst hotel experience for all of us. We were very tired and went with this hotel through booking.com. Upon arrival the hotel was clean and seemed to be recently renovated, it's a nice looking hotel. We turned in to go to sleep around 11. We could not get to sleep because the amount of noise coming from the room next to us. They were having a literal party in the room. I called the front desk to ask the clerk if she could please ask them to quiet down so we could rest. She called and we heard the door slam open and shut for about 15 minutes then it fell quiet. We were in the second floor on the back side of the hotel. It was quiet for roughly 10 more minutes then the noise was louder than before! The party had just moved right outside our window! We called the front desk again and the clerk said that she would ask them to please be quiet. She went outside and the other guest just ended up intimidating her and she did NOTHING. This went on for another half hour or so and finally I went outside and asked the other guest if they could please keep quiet as we were trying to sleep. They apologized and said they would be quiet. Before any of this took place we were also told that the patio are was closed because of covid. The guest were quiet for about 15 minutes then they were right back to being rude, using extremely vulgar language and becoming extremely intoxicated. When I went down to speak to the clerk about our options she told me that she was scared to say something to them or call the police because they were so drunk. Finally around 330 AM we were offered another room! 3:30 IN THE MORNING and we have not slept yet! As I was going to my other room one if the other guest approached me EXTREMELY drunk and told me that they had spent the same money as me and I should just leave if I dont like it. I had tried to get our money back for outlr room several times so we could go somewhere else but the clerk said she was not able to do that without manager approval....
Read moreThe rooms were very nice and they were clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. The crowd and guests that this hotel seems to draw made the experience awful. We arrived to our room smelling like a mix of cigarettes and marijuana. We continued to smell pot through the night, and the longer we were there our first night, the worse the smell got. My daughter and I could not hardly sleep because of it. When I opened the room door the next morning, the hallways reeked. There were two young ladies out in the hall joking about what they and their hotel roommates had been doing all night. The next day, I called about the problem, and they said that they had multiple complaints about it, and that it shouldn't be a problem any longer because those guests had checked out. The next night brought new issues. After we went to sleep, someone started blaring r&b music very loudly at around 9:45 PM, so loud that I could feel the base music. We had to call about that problem, which the lady at the front desk was very kind to address. Went back to sleep, and awoke two hours later to fire alarms, so we had to evacuate. We went and sat in our vehicle for a while. Very little sleep over those two night. Also, they must have just a very bad problem with people smoking pot because you just smell it everwhere there -- the parking lots, the lobby, the halls. The entryway and lobby have so much air freshener in them that it smells like someone dumped an entire jug of laundry detergent on the rug. Something needs to be done to restrict, regulate or otherwise get guests to have more respect for others. Not everybody wants to smell drugs or hear crazy loud music when they stay at a hotel. Anyways, it's sad because this is a nicely decorated hotel, the beds are nice, and the staff is nice, and if it weren't for these inconsiderate hotel guests, it could've been a good experience. As we were leaving, another guy told us he had a rough night for different reasons, and that was because there was some domestic dispute in the room next to his that he had to listen to. The walls are thin. You can hear your next door neighbor cough. I pretty much never post bad reviews on the internet, but this one I had to say something about. I hope the hotel can come up with ways to encourage better...
