If I could give 0 stars I would. Let me start with a little background, so if the owner should ever read the reviews. This Tylersville rd location is a few miles from My home and UC west Chester hospital. My husband and I have many good memories of taking our grandchildren here for decades. Spent a lot of money there, but good times for the kids. So we are decade long patrons. And have frequented it weekly for our morning coffee, til my husband could no longer walk. My husband is very ill, had been placed on ventilator this past weekend, so I have had no sleep for days.Husband ventilator removed and he was allowed coffee and food! And he wanted our usual..when I drove thru I asked if he could throw a few extra cream and sugar for the two coffees, the male said his name was John,(don't know if that's true) gave me big attitude.. "said I gave you 8 , how many do you want? With attitude..I said please, just throw a few extra in.(we love ❤️ McDonalds coffee but it's strong and we use a lot,if it is such a big deal just Charge for it, I'd be happy to pay rather than argue over a few.) "Harshly, he Tells me how many,if you want to get more than i gave you... I just couldn't think, (I said, I know you dont care, but I'm dealing with a terminally ill husband and no sleep, just throw in a few please... His reply "NO, I DONT CARE " (so no more cream and sugar for us) Never been talked to so terse in my 68 years . I'm a pretty laid back easy going person , NEVER expected such disrespect.but that was an intolerable conversation. I used the word please several times trying to descalated the rudeness. Just didn't work Needless to say that was not the coffee I had been accustom too. 😔 Please have your employees just say there is a small charge for extras, if needed, I'd pay, rather than not have coffee. And teach them respect. I know part is on me , I should have come up with a number, since it was demanded , and "a few" just wasnt working for him.but was just thinking a few is several... and was very distracted trying to quickly get back to hospital. I know businesses have to make money, but the coffee is STRONG, and we just take it with lots of cream and sugar, though usually we go in where we can fix just like we want it! I'm not kidding when I say I've spent thousands over the years here, and frankly mostly good employees, some would probably even recognize us as regulars! But at 6 am today this McDonalds failed the...
Read morePlaced an online order. Went to location to pick up order and got nothing but attitude. The drive through attendant had an attitude at the speaker. The manager or whatever that was on duty gave me attitude as soon as I pulled up to the window trying to explain my order. He kept telling me if he knew what I ordered he would prepare it and I try telling my order to him and then he would start talking over me giving me more attitude. Said something about being crunk or something I dont know. Very very disrespectful. I shown him on the app that my order said processed I showed him on my bank app that the funds came out of my account. He told me to pull forward so he can take care of the other customers that were behind me then he would come outside and figure out what my order was. When he first came out he brought me some of my order then went back in and came out with another part of my order then went back in and brought out another part of my order and had to go back in again to get the rest of my order. Everytime he came out I would explain everything that was missing and he wouldn't even acknowledge what I said and walk away back in and out.. from the first time he came out with part of.my order he went back in and came out 4 more times and it took 15 minutes for me to get my whole order. I want to speak with someone in corporate or the owner of this location because the night shift crew working is going to cause alot of issues at this location. The way everything happened almost makes me feel like they are canceling orders to be able to pocket the money or scam people. So if someone can please contact me that is higher up for this location that would be great. I have pictures and screenshots of everything that...
Read moreThe black men discriminate against other men - brown-skinned men at a that. The black female manager joined in the mockery. Even the owner was there at the time and even she, being Asian, had nothing to say.
This is the email I sent them - with no reply:
I don’t expect to be treated with any decency from any woman – especially white women.
I don’t expect to be treated with any decency from white or even black people – who are the only “Americans”.
Mind you, I am not talking about Africans – they are very respectful and professional.
Mexicans don’t even notice what I wear.
The only women who won’t treat me shamelessly are Indians (I am Indian and they know it) and Muslims - and sometimes Asians.
The only difference between white people and black people is that the black people need to make sure the entire country hears them. At least white people keep it to themselves.
That’s what generates this complaint. I know everyone discriminates against me. But when your black people have to announce to the whole store and to all the employees so they all come flocking to the front, it is a new low - this country has hit yet another low.
And where is your manager in all this? The only one who said nothing was the white male cashier. He just stood his post quietly.
I am not asking your people to not discriminate – nothing can stop that. But if they can’t keep their opinions to themselves while they are on the clock, in uniform and behind the counter, then they shouldn’t bother to show up to work and you should not want them working for you.
And you can also tell them, my ancestors are from India. Indians never enslaved black people for even four years, let alone four-hundred years. Just a little lesson in...
