Came here with my daughter in the evening. They were busy making drinks, we stood by a counter and waited several minutes before I had to grab someoneâs attention. I proceeded to ask about getting two rice bowls and was met with a bewildered stare until who I assume was the owner told us to go the register to order. It was unclear in any way what the ordering process was and it seemed like complete chaos. Finally one of the staff walked up to take our order. My daughter wanted a bowl with veggies only, no protein. The girl taking our order acted as if she had never heard this before and looked around confused until another girl came over and said under her breath âjust charge them for a tuna bowlâ So out of the gate Iâm paying extra because they have no option for no protein on their point of service register? Placed my order and then began to build the bowl which was also a painful process as it seemed like we were a burden to the person waiting on us. My bowl was mediocre at best, a tiny portion of salmon and the sriracha aioli was mostly mayo and very little spice. Not very impressed with much here food wise, nor were we treated well, and I doubt we will return. And judging from the owners lack of response to negative reviews here I donât see much in the way of him looking to improve on the...
Read moreI want to start that I really did like milk jar when they first started back in 2018ish. I went to their Hyde park location, and was so excited when they expanded to west Chester and even Mason. However throughout the years I have seen âshrinkflationâ occur where they have really been decreasing their quality but still increasing their price. I wouldnât mind price increase if quality stayed the same. I recently got a mango slush, no tapioca pearls because at 2:00 pm on a Saturday they ran out of tapioca pearls, but the slush itself was very watery when in the past it has been tasty as well as for the price it wasnât worth it ($6.05 for a slush no boba). Further, I have found a metal of piece probably steel wool in a slush I once bought for my toddler niece. This is really concerning and I had emailed them before because I wanted them to know so no one got hurt. But alas two years later, they never responded. Iâm just really disappointed in how things have deteriorated over the last few years. For better quality and price I would recommended...
Read moreThis place is So So Sweet!! The drinks are delightful and delicious!
I dont exactly have any complaints but I do have a request or suggestion... I would Love to see more pictures of the actual products and drinks you have instead of generic art on the wall.
The wall menu is lovely to look at (I wish my hand writing was that clean!) but the drink descriptions dont adequately describe the drinks to a first-timer. (We did so much googling haha)
The beverages are practically art, I think it would relieve your bariatas if you had a laminated example sheet by your register with one or two pictures of each type of drink and a bit more detail. Perhaps you could even add a featured drink in the future and advertise it on your social media.
I am also hoping that in the summer you could be allowed to add a few...
