Blazin' J's — Restaurant in West Chester

This was highly recommended so I thought I’d grab dinner. We all have off days so I’m going to have to try something else. I was really craving some wings and fries. I got the jumbo hot wings with fries. $13 plus I think a $2 tip, was super excited to eat it. The owner and worker were very friendly and hospitable. The color of the wings were a bit darker then I expected and could only eat one and half wings and one or two of the fries. It tasted really off to me. I thought that maybe it was me, I brought home to my son and he couldn’t eat it either. Ended up tossing everything. Like I said, everyone has an off day and they came highly recommended, so I’ll have to try again. But this visit was a wash. I think something must have been off in the oil or something. Both the fries and wings just weren’t what I expected.

Update: 3/2/23 Gary is an awesome and amazing business owner. I had the opportunity to try Blazin’ J’s again today and it didn’t disappoint! I had the create your own fried with mild sauce and regular Mayo. I also had some fries, Gary was nice enough to leave out the cilantro seasoning. These fries are amazing!!! Like boardwalk fries but better! I think the only thing I could ask for would be bacon and a side of vinegar for the fries! Truly a better experience this time around, and even better than Chick Filet! I know I know, do I dare say this?! Yes! If you want good chicken and you’re in the area, they are a must try! Also, know there are other locations-so give them a try!

I just ate here for the first time today and it was really good! I ordered the Blazin' J combo with fries and I thought it was a delicious sandwich and the fries were seasoned really well. Even the soda I got came out of the machine ice cold! They remind me of that one sandwich or food item that you always have to get when you go on vacation, county fair or is just your go-to item. I would definitely recommend them, it was just a great lunch and the flavor was great. I focused on the sandwich first and then after that I went to eat the fries and they were still hot. They taste like thick, fresh cut fries that has a great seasoning. I am not sure exactly what it is, but it tastes good. I am sure their other products are great and I'll try them, but this time I had the sandwich combo. It was $14 or around what Chipotle or other similar place are and only a few dollars more than fast food now, but the sandwich is definitely a lot bigger and has better ingredients. It was worth the money to me- I was between getting pizza and this, same price and I am glad I switched up my routine...

The food is fine, staff is friendly - I just had a huge hiccup in my mobile order. Must've ordered during a shift change or something because they marked my order as complete when I went to pick it up, but when I walked into the store the guy had no idea what my order was and that the guy who had just got off the clock had marked it as complete without actually making it. Guy was super apologetic and made the order, it was still really good. But I placed the mobile order for a short time window so I was hoping to get the order before my shift. Absolutely coming back but will be hesitant about mobile orders again unless I know circumstances are better
