Back in sweeter days, i would have given this place 5 or MORE stars! However; over this past weekend me and my sisters were wanting to catch up with each other and chose this once favorite place to dine as our reunion spot. So, we got all dolled up on a very pleasant, warm weathered evening, picked out favorite wine to bring along.. and as soon as we walked up to those old familiar doors and walked in- were IMMEDIATELY met with dismay. Unfortunately, the disgruntled looking older woman with Zero desire to greet our smiles, decided instead of serving More than willing to pay the pricey price of delicious Mediterranean food here returning customers- she decided to COMPLAIN to us, that she had JUST got done or rid of, seems more like it according to her lousy tone, some people that had just left and how DARE we decide to deliver more Business to her! Now, there were 2 girls with her, 1 obviously her daughter as we could hear her mumble to her MOM "mom, chill!" We would have been more than happy to wait... like 10.. 15 minutes.. walk the town and come back.. it's a charming area, most of the time.. but decided to completely Ditch this place and save our $ because of her gross attitude. To make matters MORE uncomfortable, right after i said "We have come here for years, we'll hope to come back another time..." because i could tell this wasnt going to fly... even if we waited.. just left a bad taste in our mouths. I was POLITE as can be, being professioinal about it, things didnt need to get NASTY however as we're walking out.. she actually SCOFFS at us as says "guess you didnt wanna WAIT".. to which i replied "Not with THAT attitude, lady!" wow, shocking. I hope this place closes. because it's never going to be wholesome and good again in our book. P.S. THEIR FALLAFEL ISNT FRESH ANYMORE!! TOTALLY FROZEN/DEFROSTED LACK...

We wanted to try a different Mediterranean restaurant in west Chester, having been to Opa several times. Bad idea! Made the reservation at Mediterranean by phone but they still managed to lose it. Service was fine but the restaurant seemed to be having trouble keeping up. It took 30 minutes to get our appetizers and we saw similar delays at the neighboring tables. The food was very average or below for Mediterranean food. We had mussels fra diablo. For $16 it was a good sized portion of large mussels. The problem was the taste and the construction of the dish. I have had mussels red dozens of times but never had it served on a bed of lettuce with lemon and jalapenos. Even with the peppers the red sauce was completely bland with not a hint of flavor or spice. The hummus that came with the entrees was tasty but very watery and runny. This was a consistent problem with many of the items we got. The tzatziki had the consistency of water and the tabouli was also very watery, and drenched everything else on the plate. The falafel balls were good but no pita was served with the falafel platter oddly enough. The lettuce in the side salad was brown and wilted. All and all not a great middle eastern dining experience and...

We were tired and hungry when we entered the restaurant, but they had not opened yet and we were 1/2 hour too early. They were too accommodating, though, and they allowed us to come in, sit, relax and enjoy true customer service. My wife and I shared a small plate of hummus. It was fresh, made with dry beans and served with a generous side of pita and olive oil. The hummus was garnished with raw vegetables and was served on a bed of lettuce. Yum! I had the Shrimp Kebab Platter that normally came with a side of hummus, but our server substituted it with a mixture of beans and rice since we already had it as an appetizer. There were five large shrimps perfectly grilled and the rice and beans were delicious too. My wife had the Grilled Vegetable Platter that came with hummus, tabbouleh and rice. Yum, again. The fresh veggies were perfectly grilled and charred. The atmosphere was wonderful and very Mediterranean. The restaurant was easily accessible without any steps and there was a tiny incline at the entrance. There offered outdoor and indoor seating. Highly...

My sister and I had dinner here Friday night. First we were thrilled with the complementary basket of warm bread and pita, along with a plate of oil with herbs and seasonings. We each ordered the spanakopita appetizer. I’ve had spanakopita several times, but never like this! So yummy. Then we decided to split the mussels over linguine. Deferred to my sister's choice of white wine sauce, but asked our waitress, Lauren, if I could get a small bowl of marinara (my choice) on the side. Worked perfectly! The mussels were tender and clean, and so bountiful, we couldn’t finish! Lauren couldn’t have been sweeter or more attentive. It’s BYOB and we brought a bottle of wine, which was opened and chilled for us. Forgot to take any pics till we were done, sorry! Highly recommend this charming restaurant.

We had such a great dinner here! Everything felt fresh, flavorful, and made with care. I ordered the chicken kabob platter, and it was absolutely perfect — juicy, tender, and beautifully charred with that hint of lemon and herbs. The yellow rice was light and fragrant, and the grilled veggies added the perfect touch. The hummus was so creamy and smooth, easily some of the best I’ve had. For dessert, we shared the chocolate lava cake, and it was the perfect ending — rich, warm, and balanced with fresh berries and whipped cream. The service was kind and unhurried, and the cozy atmosphere with the blue and white touches made it feel like a little escape to the Mediterranean coast. Great spot for a date night or dinner with friends. Highly recommend!
