Read moreI'm a major support for Bob's and the local gem has a piece of my heart... my babies love the mac & cheese and I don't eat meat so I decided to purchase 2 veggie plates last week, 1 with 2 sides of mac for my daughters. The cashier was very rude when telling me I can't get that and I have to get different items, so I asked is that on the menu, it wasn't and she was not nice about it so I left. My girls, really wanted the food so I waltz back into the restaurant for the same request asking for the manager and he told me I could get it I'd just have to pay more, I asked for the policy and looked down and there were some printed at the register and asked why was it extra he said bc he doesn't allow it. Ok, im.not trying to be a bug but since my daughters are looking forward to receiving this food I want to get it but now on the principal of this I was disappointed. I never have order double sides and have been frequently visit and even promoting (which won't stop bc I strongly support bobs) but sometimes the customer service just sucks, but we have to crawl before we walk, hopefully they was just in a funky mood and took it out on me. I'm forgiving but I don't know the next time I'll revisit. For all the Great experiences that I have just been a consumer who paid for her food and left the time when they throw me a wild card I'm definitely...
Read moreVisiting Chicago from Phoenix Arizona and the minute we landed all we heard was Chef Daddys. Everybody I asked said I have to eat at Chef Daddys, so I did. First of all the parking lol I have spent 20 finding a place to park everywhere I go except Chef Daddys, quick and easy parking, easy to find, and actually the door was literally open for me to just walk right on in. Ok now the people/service. I was greeting as soon as I walked in and was asked if I wanted a fried meat so she could get it started before I even order. That’s efficient, fresh, fast service. The food was bomb as hell, I had chitterlings with about 5 sides, everything was really good, I also got Carmel cake but I haven’t tried it yet. I spent $50 and I got basically two meals. I’m definitely going back before I go home. Now the negative, there was a worker that came out to cool off that was touching all over her face and the corners of her eyes and she went back in to make food, I stopped someone and asked them to ask her to wash her hands, they did and she did with no problem. That made me look to see who was wearing gloves and I didn’t see anyone wearing them. I’d like to see gloved hands preparing my food but other than that I love the place. 4 out of 5, get some gloves and...
