I am writing to express my disappointment with the recent experience at your Chipotle store located at 1733 N Damen. On [date], I arrived at the store at 9:45 PM, which was well before the posted closing time of 11:00 PM. However, to my surprise, the staff had already commenced the cleanup process, including cleaning around the food stations, which left me feeling unwelcome and discouraged from making a purchase.
As a loyal customer of Chipotle, I have always appreciated the quality of your food and the service provided by your staff. However, the premature cleanup not only caught me off guard but also made me feel unwelcome and inconvenienced.
Closing time is a critical period for customers who wish to grab a meal before the store officially closes. By initiating the cleanup process significantly before the scheduled closing time, the staff not only inconvenienced me but also cast a negative light on Chipotle in my eyes.
I understand the importance of maintaining cleanliness and adhering to closing procedures, but I believe that these tasks should be carried out diligently until the official closing time at 11:00 PM. Customers should be able to rely on the store's operating hours and receive consistent service regardless of their time of arrival.
The incident at the 1733 N Damen store has left me disappointed, and I walked out without making a purchase. I hope that this was an isolated occurrence and not indicative of the usual standards upheld by Chipotle.

Read moreI have to echo other reviews. I have lived in several cities and ordered Chipotle in person and by delivery over the years and this is by far the worst Chipotle I've ever ordered from.
Delivery: It's always wrong, they have never once got my order right. Items are always missing (sometimes a side of tortilla or a drink sometimes an entire burrito or a bowl). Once I order a burrito and they sent me a bowl instead. If you choose to order delivery from here, I highly suggest 3rd party apps so you can at least get a refund for missing and incorrect items - I have had to reach out to DoorDash for my money back each time I got delivery from here. I also see drivers wait for my order for 5-10 minutes. They often cancel because they're sick of waiting and a new driver will be assigned. Today the 3rd driver delivered my food.
In-Person: They are always missing items that are on the menu. If you order a salad you'll be eating it dry, they NEVER make the salad dressing at this location. They are also so incredibly rude. They will ignore your requests for a side of something and you'll go to check out and the cashier will have to get it for you. They also seem very rude to each other. The place is super messy and just so poorly run.

There were a lot of problems...first off, the cashier was not wearing her mask all the time while everybody else was. I also understand that it can be overwhelming when you are busy but this employee couldn’t handle the stress. There was a lady who had to go to work and politely asked to get a refund and the girl told her there was nothing she could do and to get back in line. All while having an attitude. She called her manager after the lady asked her for a refund again and the manager started looking for the customers order and it was right there in front of her eyes. When it was my turn to pay, i mentioned how I had a coupon to use and she told me it wasn’t working. I told her to get a manager for help. She huffed and got the manager. When the manager came and fixed the problem she started to mimick me. I told her I worked at a chipotle and knew how it went by this I meant I knew that she was doing something wrong and needed help and also understood how overwhelming working in a hot spot can be.
