Tl:Dr the staff is incredibly disrespectful and they DO NOT cater to dietary restrictions.
The food truck version of this place has been a horrible experience for me on multiple occasions.
I have dietary restrictions and at Pitchfork the menu said gf. After waiting in line for over 30 min in the rain, I got to the counter and the person informed me that the menu was wrong and the items were not gluten free. Super upsetting.
At West Fest I saw they changed the menu to say ask about gf options. This made me think maybe they had changed things. There was a really long line and I didn’t want the same situation to occur where I waste 30 min.
My boyfriend went up to the counter to just ask about gf. The man working the counter rolled his eyes at him and said no when he asked if he could ask a quick question. After informing him that they are not gluten free he mocked my boyfriend and called him “Mr cut in line”.
Such unprofessionalism. Restaurants are responsible for educating their customers on what they serve. Do...
Read moreOrdered chicken kabab over fries, no spicy harissa sauce. Got a wrap. When I mentioned it, they offered to remake which was nice, but the remake had the sauce. Wasn't going to send back a third time, I just picked around it. I understand it's more of a bar with food and not a restaurant, but they could have offered to clear our plates since there was no place to put them. We sat there with the plates on our table to whole time I visited with friends. the food was just okay, clearly not fresh, and not real Döner by any means. One friend ordered the Currywurst and one actually did order the wrap, both said it was just okay. I was excited to try this place because of the Poutine (which we ordered to share, it was the best thing on the table and even that was just okay). The only thing I would really recommend if you go is the sour beer they have. Cool environment, but don't plan on...
Read moreVegetarians/Vegans have amazing options here that aren't just tasty, they're healthy (if you can tempt yourself away from the cheese curds and curry fries options). It's not a compromise in this mixed diet house to order carry out from here- it's a real treat. I've had the Doner bowl over rice (hummus and/or tzatziki) the last two times and it's a perfect size for a hefty dinner. My husband loves the chicken bowel, double chicken really is a sizeable amount of protein. He also feels it's a healthy option, even as we order Bavarian pretzels and cheese curds to start 😋. Run don't walk on this spot. We slept on it for a long time and regret not having more delicious dinners from here. House made seitan, sauces, and always fresh veg are all highlights to...
