DO NOT COME HERE!!! I placed an order over the phone for 2 Caldos(soups) in the morning for me & my husband that’s all we had ate for the day since the portions are on the larger side it was enough for us to eat in the morning & the rest in the late afternoon. After I finished eating the second portion I started to feel so much pain in my stomach I tried applying ice but nothing helped so I took a nap instead & I woke up throwing up the soup like crazy.. My husband left work early because he started feeling the same affects that I did. We both have been throwing up none stop & having diarrhea constantly. My husband called the restaurant & they didn’t want to do anything about it.Its beyond upsetting this was the only thing we ate & the manager was blaming us saying we might of already been sick when that is just not true. Awful experience & now I’m here left to deal with the horrible stomach aches & constantly throwing up. DO NOT GIVE THIS PEOPLE UR MONEY!! They will not care if something happens to u caused...
Read moreI ordered 2 caldos de Res!!! They gave me 2 white buckets (3lbs to 5lbs) of straight vegetables and only 2 small ones pieces of meat each bucket cost me $16. I was appalled. If I wanted a vegetable soup I would’ve ordered just that. I called to kindly ask the lady who answered the phone refuse to help her pitting me and n hold to speak with her manager. She came back and said the manager wouldn’t do anything about it. In all I spent close to $30 some dollars for abut a quarter pound of meat & the meat had bones in it still really not even a quarter pound. This place does not value their customers or their hard earned money but strictly a business.. a total disgrace to the Hispanic community. We choose to support local businesses and this is how we are treated? Shame on you...
Read moreThis place disappointed. I've been to other Taconazo restaurants, and this one is by far the least favorite. Firstly, I would like to say that customer service was not right, either the cook mess up my order or the lady at counter screwed up. I asked for a specific dish and instead got the usual toppings added. "No big deal, I'll just remove them." Initially, the steak tacos were OK, but they had too much fatty meat, which I hardly ever seen in a traditional Mexican restaurant. I've had their burritos, which were very soggy and seem plain. Honestly, I probably won't be coming here anytime soon. I've been here several times, not by choice but by force. I'd rather visit BW on California & Sac.
Sorry Taconazo, you guys need to step...
