Diner beware. When we lived in River North, we would get food from Jubilee. Good food, and good service. (They've been around for years.)
We now live a little further away, and my wife wanted some food from them.
When we get the order, one sandwich is missing, and they gave her the wrong sandwich.
When I called to complain, the guy who answered couldn't find the order and when he did, he said that he remembered putting the missing sandwich in the bag. (Which we got stapled shut so clearly he didn't. ) Instead of saying ok... they'll send something out, he said he may be able to do something if I came in... Really? In city traffic that's 15-20 min each way, no parking. (Thats why we got delivery) When my wife wrote a review, the 'owner' / manager immediately responded with an empty apology and claimed that they put the sandwich in the bag.
Its amazing that the manager who wasn't there at the diner could instantly respond to the review, yet couldn't call my wife to talk to her and to see how they could make this right. (They have her cell number...)
There are a lot of places to get food from. Seems that their service has gone down hill and not worth it.
Now mistakes happen. But the lack of service and hollow. Apology?

I had the philly cheesesteak on a bed of lettuce with ranch & it was soooooooo delicious & the Steak was soooooooo tender. This was all due to the efforts of the excellent customer service we received from the Cashier Rich. He gave a lot of options and suggestions and was very patient with us. Which all of his recommendations were on point and sooooooo tasty. He also suggested the Spinach & Strawberry salad with grilled chicken, we also ordered the Roasted vegetables, the Hummus plate, a Bacon Cheesburger with Fries to go for my Son & he also suggested the Orange Berry Dream Smoothie that was a Dream, lol (It was very satisfying & tasty). Everything was Excellent, I take my hat off to the Cook. I really appreciate all the help we got from Richard he was very personable, attentive but, he didn't pester us, and he went above & beyond to make sure myself & my Spouse experience was great at the restaurant. Please Don’t Lose Rich he's a true asset to your team and Kudos to the Cook, as well because everything was so Delicious. Decided to go for a late evening drive to see what type of smoothies they had - so my husband and I could try them. Arrived at the location - parking was very hard to find as the location is in a business as well as residential area. Once we found parking - we walked over to the restaurant and upon entering there were two employees near the area of the counter; one male and one female. My husband and I viewed their menu for a moment - very difficult to get a good look as the menu was on two giant tv screens that kept changing to different items. During our time inside of the restaurant - we were never greeted. Never asked if there was anything we needed assistance with - never suggested any recommendations or advice on which products were best. Nothing. I ended up approaching the young lady at the counter and asked how big were their smoothies as I couldn’t gauge how big the ounces were. She just stated that it was a 20 ounce and proceeded to go back to her phone.
