To live in the city surrounded by a concrete jungle, residents who live near this park know what I am referring to. Touted as the "un-official" dog park of the West Loop gate this place is great for taking your city dog to remind them that there is still grass in the world and give them a chance to mingle with dogs of all shapes and sizes. Read moreGreat place to take your dog off leash and let them run around with other pups in the natural grass. Not nearly as crowded as other dog parks in the area and everyone is super friendly. Other dogs might not be present during off times but it's a great place for fetch when empty.
Be sure to check the perimeter and make sure you're comfortable with the entry/exits as this park is not truly enclosed like most dog parks.
Only downside is it gets really muddy after rain so be prepared to give a bath of you go shortly after...
