Exotic pizzas are infamous and famous in a place like Chicago.
Few places pride themselves on it like the local staple Le Cafe Station.
Their drink menu ranges from the generic harmleas staples to an artisan put true effort into this.
Lattes, frapes, and you cam bring your own bear.
Please note the sandwiches are no slouches, but the curiosity that can be peaked by pizzas like the Pork Shoulder pizza will always keep you interested in looking at the menu long afyer you left.
Pros:
Food, it's that simply and rarley to thos extent. Juice Bar, sode of building has Roman Pizza take out section.
Cons:
Too much outdoor clutyer litters the floor, fall leaves on a rug are nothing out of the ordinary by any stretch of the imagination, but with my count of about 4 staffers not cooks in site, no one is atleast attemting to clear up debre amd leaves that have left the main entrance areas.
But if that's the worst thing I can say about this place is that even a...
Read moreWhat a pleasant surprise this restaurant was! I say this because it has a somewhat non-descript facade and it’s located along a busy Western Ave, right next to the Blue Line station. We ordered a Veggie Croissant sandwich (added cheese), an Avocado BLT, and a side salad. The Veggie Croissant was huge and could easily be shared. Sandwiches on a croissant can sometimes be messy, but this one was well constructed with veggies that were perfectly cooked and flavorful. The portion size for the side salad was also pretty generous. We look forward to...
Read moreI visited Le Cafe on 12/19. Jaime greeted me at the door. He was polite and nice and informed me of the Christmas drinks specials. Diana was very nice and had great customer service from the time she greeted me, took my orders and gave my bill. I ordered the Hot Marshmallow Peppermint latte (12 oz) with Almond Milk which was absolutely amazing! Tasted so good that I might go back there just to try the other Christmas drinks' specials. Coconut Waffle Sandwich was also very delicious and well cooked. Sausage, fried egg, avocado spread, rossted tomato, argula, swiss cheese was so delicious. It was offered with maple syrup. I found out later from the receipt that you will be charged 75 cents extra for almond milk and 75 cents extra for a small cup of ranch. I wish I was told about the extra charges earlier when I...
