Working with Emma Mullins and her team was one of the very best decisions we made for our wedding. From the very beginning, Emma took the time to truly get to know us, what mattered most to us, and how she could capture our story in a way that felt authentic. As two people who are a bit camera-shy, we were amazed at how natural and comfortable she made us feel in front of the camera. Her warmth, professionalism, and easygoing personality instantly put us at ease.

One thing that stood out was how incredibly prepared and thoughtful Emma was every step of the way. She provided us with so many helpful recommendations leading up to the big day: everything from navigating the permit process at the Honeycomb in Lincoln Park to curating a list of photo types we might want to include in our wedding album. Her guidance made planning so much easier and ensured that nothing important was overlooked.

On the wedding day itself, Emma and her team were absolutely phenomenal. They anticipated every moment, seamlessly blending into the background while still capturing every detail. When it unexpectedly started to rain, Emma didn’t miss a beat. She had brought along beautiful, photogenic umbrellas so we could keep our outdoor shoot going without stress. That level of preparedness and care is something we will never forget.

Our photos turned out more stunning than we could have ever imagined. They perfectly reflect the joy, love, and emotion of the day, and we’ll treasure them for a lifetime. Emma’s artistry, dedication, and thoughtfulness are unmatched.

Emma was an enthusiastic cheerleader and supporter to us along our wedding planning journey. Emma is very responsive, enthusiastic, detailed and creative, and helped us accomplish a fantastic wedding day.

Emma helped us identify creative ways to replan our wedding during COVID19, and was incredibly flexible as our plans changed multiple times. We ultimately were able to get married in a small ceremony at Starved Rock State Park in IL, and Emma went above and beyond and drove out there a few weeks before the wedding to scout out some beautiful spots for photos.

During our wedding day, we had photography services with Emma and videography services with her colleague Carlos. Their team helped us feel excited and confident throughout the whole wedding day. Emma's positivity and energy helped us have SO much fun during our photo sessions. Carlos was able to creatively capture video from the full day and we were so impressed by the sound and visual quality of the videos. Emma captured the colors, joy and essence of the day in her photos. Looking back at the photos and videos brings us and our families so much joy.

Emma and Carlos sent us highlight photos and a highlight video in just a couple weeks (we paid extra for expedited delivery) , and then the full set of photos and the full video came to us a couple months later.

We LOVED working with Emma and her team, and we definitely recommend her for anyone in the Chicago area. Well worth the money!

Emma was the first vendor we hired for our October 2022 wedding. I saw a coworkers photos and immediately knew we had to hire her. We booked Emma before we were even engaged over a year and a half before our wedding.

Spoiler alert: we had absolutely no regrets.

While we were in the process of booking for our wedding, Emma worked with my husband and the two of them planned a surprise proposal for me. My husband was so impressed with how good Emma was at keeping up the surprise even when I thought something might be up.

In addition to our proposal shoot, Emma also shot our Engagement pics and our wedding (duh). Emma made us feel comfortable in front of the camera and was always game for any ideas we had.

Logistically, Emma had everything under control and came to each meeting prepared. She rolled with the punches and made it super easy to add more time to our contract and suggested how best to allocate time for her and her second shooter. She gave helpful feedback and along with our planner, made sure our timeline was ironed out.

On our wedding day, Emma and her assistant, Alexis, did a great job wrangling our wedding party as well as our large family pictures (I think one photo had 50+ people 😬). She was able to adapt on the fly making suggestions along the way but also never being pushy.

Emma’s contract states they’ll deliver your final gallery within 12 weeks of the wedding. In our experience, we got sneak peeks (almost 100 photos!) for our wedding a week and a half after our wedding and received our full gallery (1500 photos!!!) 7 weeks after the wedding [while on our Honeymoon!].
