This is the "best" ribeye steak burrito in the city. I highly recommend you order this if you come here to eat. They also make two fresh salsas. My favorite is the verde and depending on how hot the jalapeños are, then this salsa can have some great kick to it. I love to pour the verde salsa right into my ribeye steak burrito. It is such an amazing taste.
The rest of the food is also really good. Honestly you can't go wrong. The ground beef is very similar to a picadillo, so it has a unique taste. The Pastor is very yummy too. The owner recently talked me into trying the pork skin taco and it was really good. I never had one prior but was in love after the first bite of it. The chicken is also seasoned really nice. My little one loves the chicken tacos.
The inside is not very large so try not to come at noon during the week when they get slammed, unless that is the only time you can come. There are 4 counter seats and 5 tables. I love sitting at the counter and watching them make my food fresh. I feel like I'm watching a cooking show as they put my ribeye burrito together. The best part is I get to dive into it, while it's piping hot.
So if your in the area, you must try this place. I've had friends drive all the way from the South-side to eat here and I've gotten them hooked. They can hardly wait to come back again. There is a parking lot but there's plenty of street parking too, so you will not have to worry about that. Credit cards are accepted which is nice because many taco places...

The location is on a six Corner intersection and there's a lot of construction currently going around so it's a little difficult to navigate. They do have a small parking lot in the back which is convenient as there is very little parking nearby.
It's an old building with white concrete blocks More reminiscent of an old hamburger Shack than a Mexican food restaurant, but the interior was clean and both the indoor and outdoor was colorfully decorated. The seating area is small with just a handful of tables, it looks like they do a lot of carryout business.
We ordered the Jaliciense dinner plate that consists of steak, pork and stuffed pepper as well as rice beans and salad. Our other order was a carne asada steak burrito which is served with beans, onions, cilantro, tomato, lettuce, cheese, and sour cream.
The food was really good, however, I really like my stuffed pepper. When we were leaving I asked the person behind the counter if it was possible to get a dinner plate of just stuffed peppers and she told me that yes they would be able to make it for me. I guess I know what I will be ordering next time I eat here.
I understand that they are known for their tacos al pastor, we will just have to try those on our next visit also.
Prices are good especially the dinner plates considering all the food that you receive. Will definitely...
