R&A Sourdough Commissary & Kitchen — Restaurant in West Chicago Township

We went to the river west location and were the only ones there when Initially ordering. We were told it would be a 10 mins wait for our sandwiches and stood there waiting 40 mins. I ordered the youngster with an asiago bagel and hot sauce on the side, and I received a jalapeño cheddar bagel with no hot sauce on the side (pictured below, I did not realize this till getting home and opening everything up). On top of waiting 40 mins when told 10 mins my order was incorrect and I feel the staff did nothing to make up for the wait time when telling us it would only be 10 mins. I mentioned to the employee it would help to inform people prior to ordering to tell them it would take 40 mins so we are not expecting 10 mins and he said “well take your feedback into consideration” and abruptly walked away after handing me the food. If I was told the correct wait time to begin with or compensated with a pastry or discounted sandwich for next time to show they care about their customers and felt bad for for the wait time/sandwich mistakes I would of been less upset but nothing was acknowledged and I felt the staff did not care. I understand places get busy but they need to be upfront about wait times to show respect to their customers and their time. The sandwiches were very good but unfortunately will not be back...

This place is amazing. I love the quality ingredients and the fact that EVERYTHING is a creative sourdough infused magic treat. I feel good when I eat it and it tastes divine. Keep coming up with creative ways to use sourdough in your food, it means a lot to digestive health and I’d love to see more vegan options like a muffin!? But none of the fake butters just a healthy low fat muffin infused...

I ordered the Tuna and the Hipster. Both were packed with flavor. My friend had the tuna so my experience was from one bit but the sourdough bread was fresh and delicious. I had the Hipster and this is going to be my go to order. I did order it on a garlic bagel so I made try different bagels to test out but the seasoning was on point.
