I’ve been a regular visitor to this place for the past 1-2 years and have always appreciated the vibrant atmosphere, great drinks menu, and attentive service. Unfortunately, my recent visit left me quite disappointed.

To begin with, the service was unacceptably slow — we waited over 45 minutes for our order, and during that time, no staff member checked in with us or acknowledged the delay. The team seemed disorganized and inattentive, which was surprising given the consistently good service I’ve experienced here in the past.

It’s clear that there’s been a recent change in staff, and while everyone needs time to settle in, the new team appears inexperienced and struggles with communication, especially in English. This made it difficult to convey simple requests and contributed to the overall poor experience.

The most disappointing part came towards the end of our visit when we ordered a brownie. Unfortunately, it was subpar — dry, lacking flavor, and nothing like what we’d come to expect. When we politely raised our concern, the staff's response was dismissive and rude. One team member remarked that all their brownies taste the same and even implied we didn’t know what a brownie should taste like. When we pushed back gently, she responded by telling us to either eat it or leave — an incredibly unprofessional and unacceptable attitude.

Overall, it’s disheartening to see such a decline in quality — both in terms of food and service — at a place that used to be one of my favorites. I truly hope management takes this feedback seriously and works on restoring the standards that once made this...

The restaurant managers are literally arrogant — in fact, downright rude. The girl who manages the counter is so arrogant that she contradicts everything her colleagues have said while taking the order, and she doesn’t listen to customers at all.

I had my second bad experience today. First, while placing the order, she argued with us that the price written on their menu was wrong and that what she was saying was correct. We lost a couple of bucks because of her ignorance. Second, she showed a complete inability to understand what the customer is saying.

We had placed an order for pickup at 5:45 PM today. However, we visited the store in the morning to request a change in pickup time. She agreed, and I clearly told her we would be picking it up around 5:00 PM. When we arrived at 5:15 PM, the food wasn’t ready. One of her colleagues told us it would be ready in two minutes. After waiting 10–15 minutes, I asked again — this time directly to her — and again she said “just two more minutes.” That turned into another 10 minutes.

When we asked again, to our surprise, she claimed the order was originally scheduled for 5:45 PM. What?!

Finally, when the order arrived at 5:47 PM, the sandwiches — which were supposed to come with chips — were missing them. One of her colleagues had clearly mentioned that chips would be included, but she categorically dismissed it, saying it doesn’t apply to catering orders and that her colleague was mistaken.

Buddy, either train your staff properly or stop this nonsense. Overall, a very...

Restaurant Eggholic is an absolute gem for all egg lovers! I recently visited this cozy establishment and had the pleasure of trying their Chicken and Burji, and I must say, it was an egg-cellent experience.

The ambiance of Eggholic is warm and inviting, making it a perfect place to enjoy a delicious meal. The staff was friendly and attentive, adding to the overall pleasant dining experience.

Now, let's talk about the food. The Chicken and Burji dish was a delightful combination of flavors and textures. The chicken was cooked to perfection, tender and juicy, while the egg burji was rich, creamy, and packed with spices that tickled my taste buds in all the right ways. The dish had just the right amount of heat, making it suitable for those who enjoy a bit of a kick without being overwhelming.

What sets Eggholic apart is their dedication to eggs and their creative approach to incorporating them into various dishes. It's a haven for egg enthusiasts, and the menu offers a wide array of options, each more enticing than the last.

All in all, my visit to Eggholic was a delightful experience. If you're an egg lover or simply looking to try something new and delicious, I highly recommend giving this restaurant a try. I can't wait to return and explore more of their...

Everything FROZEN. They said they make wheat roti fresh but the one they served was from fulka fresh frozen roti which was the worst and it was made from maida. The buttermilk they gave literally had only water and staff was like it’s like this only. I think they need to learn the difference between adding just water vs making buttermilk. The paneer gotalo sabji they recommended was utterly tasteless and it wasn’t even a gotalo. It was just the readymade curry paste with too much of color. The lava pulao again they said it’s fresh was totally stale and cold. We asked staff two times and they were totally mannerless saying it’s not possible. I asked them to try it right in front of me and they just took it inside and brought it back as is no difference. Sev poori we ordered had stale oil taste. Overall mannerless staff, terrible food, everything frozen. If you can’t serve a good food, rather shut down.

Recently had the pleasure of eating at Eggholic on my trip to Chicago and I was blown away by the authentic flavors they served. I ordered the Paneer Gotala, which is a dish made with Paneer (Indian Cottage Cheese) and a spicy tomato based sauce. The paneer was so flavorful, and the sauce was delicious. It was the perfect combination of flavors and textures and reminded me of eating food in India. I was very impressed with the food at this place and I want to give a special shout-out to the team working there. They were all friendly and attentive, and made us feel very welcome. They also took the time to explain the different dishes to my non-Indian partner, which we really appreciated. The Dahi Puri was a bit on the sweeter side but nevertheless delicious. If you're in Chicago, I highly recommend checking out this amazing Indian restaurant. You won't be disappointed at all.

⭐️⭐️⭐️ (3/5) – Decent but Overly Spicy & Pricey** Eggoholic serves up bold flavors, but the spice level is **way hotter than expected**—even for someone who enjoys Indian food. The "regular" spice level felt more like "extra spicy," which might not suit everyone. What I ordered: Pani Puri: Average taste, and the **water (pani) was skimpy—when asked for extra, they didn’t provide any. Egg Pulao: Packed heat but too oily**, and the portion size felt **small for the price**. Other notes: ✔️ **Service was fast** ❌ **Street parking only** (can be inconvenient) ❌ **Spice & oil overpowered the flavors** ❌ **Portion-to-price ratio could be better** **Final thoughts:** There’s potential, but adjustments in spice control, portion sizing, and flexibility (like extra pani) could make a big difference. Might revisit if they tweak these!
