It's just a great park with an amazing view of the city. Chicago has so many parks and it is nice green space for all the children to play in. This park has been expanded and remodeled now for the second time since it opened. The kids area was too small and need expanding. I wish there was more areas for the adults to sit and possibly a little more shade but kids don't care about stuff like that.
The river is right here so you can walk down and wave at the boats as they pass by. Beware of the geese though because they are a pain in the butt. I really wish they would go back to Canada. There is a Caribou Coffee next door too which makes...
Read moreIt's simply a nice place to slow down and collect your thoughts. Dogs allowed. Small children playing. Many young families. Both dog and kid playgrounds. River at West end of park is filled with boats slowly moving by. There is a Seven/Eleven accross the street on the East side of the park. Nice for small group picnics. There is a short River Walk, with wildlife. Bring your stale bread.
