Thai Bowl — Restaurant in West Chicago Township

Worst service I have ever experienced! I have offered take out from Thai bowl many times, but never eaten at the restaurant before and I wanted to eat the food straight from the kitchen. First of we get there there is no one in the restaurant and it seemed like they were upset that we decided to eat in. The portion sizes are great but there was no way we were going to finish all of it so we asked for containers. The waitress brought us the containers but kept taking the plates that we were trying take with us. As I was putting away my pad Thai, they took two of my plates that I was going to take home! Also important to note that I ordered a soup asked for a soup container and was given the rice container! When I asked for a different container at least a plastic container, which I know they have bc I have ordered from them before, the waitress said sorry we don't have any! What!!! Literally was in there for 10 minutes when the check was brought to my table! Talk about horrible customer service! The food is not the problem! Eat the food it is delicious! o start, my background with them is that I have been going here for over 10 years now. My company UPS has been getting delivery from here for almost as long because of my referral. So now 9 months to the day pregnant and I order a pick-up order to get my spicy food to help with delivery and I have to deal with this supposed "manager" named, Eial. I was disconnected twice and when she received my order I chose my free appetizer like I always do and she had the audacity to deny me because my bill was 15 cents under! Not dollars cents! I have never had anyone make such a petty discrepancy after all the time I have been going here! It shocked me further that she was the manager too?! I am very disappointed and find after me explaining my loyalty to them still having no factor really disheartening. Think I am going to have to find a new...

I don't usually rate places unless they are really good or really bad. Unfortunately, after coming back here for the third time, reluctantly, nothing changed for the better. The decor is like high school lunch room with uncomfortable plastic/wooden chairs and the lady behind the cashier is also like a lunch lady who hates her job. The first time I went they served the wrong soup and then still charged me for it and had an attitude about a refund. The food does not taste fresh like it has been taken from the left-overs of a china buffet and there is no lunch special so it is over-priced with no extra egg roll or soup. Maybe I am being a bit harsh but hopefully they can take note and maybe make some changes. Seems like other people like this place so maybe it is...
