Arrigo (Victor) Park — Attraction in West Chicago Township

Went to go walk in the park after a hectic dental visit at the University to just relax and ground myself. The park itself was beautiful but I didn't stay for more than a minute because I realized that the parking was only for local permit. This is a gem of a park; usually peaceful, shaded, lots of birds, and open enough to always have a breeze. If you have to come down to the Rush or UIC Med Centers this is a great waiting or unwinding spot (6 mins away) that I use to read & peoplewatch. Stumbled across this small park while looking for a market. Features lots of green open areas and a small garden were I believe used to be fountain no longer there when we visited.
