Had an odd experience on Sunday, September 1st. The door guy was talking to me about my id. It was all chill until all of a sudden their female friend that was smoking with him got up in my face and antagonized me asking, “How old are you?!” She didn’t even see my ID but started immediately antagonizing me without context. I understand as an Asian male in their mid-20s, I look relatively young. That lady had not seen my ID nor was I talking to her but she felt like being rude and interrupting our conversation without any context! This left a sour taste in my mouth that lasts to this day. I hope she was at least another employee but that doesn’t justify her behavior.

I was here for a benefit for Chiditarod, and this bar is nondescript enough in appearance that you'd probably walk right past it without noticing it - I know I have. It has a refurbished dive bar look to it much like Crown Liquors or Spilt Milk, but it splits the difference between Crown Liquors' emphasis on craft brews and Spilt Milk's emphasis on craft cocktails. Weekday night stop by. Regular crowd is kinda wack. Could be a great local bar. As a note I will be stopping in again to see if this place is cool kinda mid tbh. Better bars in the area that serve the same purpose. Priced like Lincoln park bars too lol
