This bank is beyond useless. They will not call you back for days (if you’re lucky they even call you back) they will call you back acting like they are doing you a favor and have an inconvenienced attitude. The people that fields the calls are completely useless. They say they are short staffed, busy and make every excuse up. There are several local banks in the area that I am moving my business accounts to that don’t do this. You guys should look to them to see why they aren’t short staffed and why Wintrust has a terrible employee morale. You guys portray yourself as customer centric. However, you have a call center who cannot even answer simple questions, leave you on hold pretending they can’t hear you, (no accountability whatsoever) and takes a message that is never returned. You push people to online services, you have an attitude when finally able to speak with someone. This is the opposite of what I want in a bank. This is the worst customer experience. This is the third time I call and ask for help over the phone to this same branch as I am in the hospital and cannot physically walk into a branch due to my health. This branch isn’t making it any easier on people with chronic conditions. An African American female at that branch felt “uncomfortable” giving me a quote on how much a check book would cost after I provided her with all of my banking credentials and security questions correctly- she still felt “uncomfortable”. I just need to know how much a check book would cost- all she told me was “anywhere from $45-$350”; I would just like to know the price for my certain account with Wintrust.
