This restaurant is so disgusting and fraud customers's money. Tonight I went to here dine in. Food was average. But customers service was two big thumbs down . When I received the bill I paid 40 dollars. $20Ă1, $5x 4. Because I thought my bill was 38 dollars something but my actual bill is $33 dollars something .So I went to the front ask why I paid $40 only gave me 1 dollar back. The lady in the front said you only paid $35 dollars. I let her know I paid $40. All of sudden one waiter stepped in to our conversation, raised his voice, said to me your bill only $33 that's impossible you'll gave us $40, why do you think you did that that's impossible because your bill only $33 you can't give us $40. 1 with my kid. Since he almost yelled at me I decided paid my tips and left. But after I got home, I recount my money I found out I'm missing five dollars. I called this restaurant they checked their camera after 15 minute waiting. They told me My five dollar was dropped by the waiter who was the one raising his voice on me when he passing by he accidentally dropped that five dollar on the ground so therefore when the lady came to check my bill out she only have $35 .But after I left, they actually found five dollars on the ground but when I called they're not honest to me that they are already found five dollars on the ground but after I asked him to check the camera they say oh that's five dollar it's belong to you. Thank you so much to blamed me and unjustly accused me.
This is not a matter of $5 dollars, which just proves how shameless this restaurant is. I will not tolerate any kind of rude behavior in the future. I will not take my 20 minutes to drive back just because of the $5 dollars. You can keep but this restaurant forever owned me $5 dollars.
I have to write this review. Because I have to let other people who pay cash to this restaurant know that double count your money before give to them.
PS: don't use their suggested tips on the bill because it's more than you actually need to pay do your own...

LAN Noodle in West Covina is their second restaurant, located at the Tokyo Central Plaza. The main draw of LAN Noodle is hand-pulled noodles, made to order. 8 different styles (and a secret menu type, too). The art of noodle-making is a fine honed craft, requiring many years to master. Chef Gao expertly prepared the noodles for my Signature LAN noodle soup right before my very eyes, while I marveled at the dexterity & effort put into only one order of noodles .
For my dine-in lunch, I decided upon the chicken gizzards as the appetizer for my Signature LAN Noodle soup
Chicken gizzards- Tough, chewy, spicy - just as gizzards should be! The portions were plenty and I enjoyed chomping on the spicy offal.
Signature LAN Noodle soup- Piping hot bowl of soup, medium spice level. The noodles, which came into existence just a few minutes ago, were tender & pleasing to the palate. Ample cuts of pork, with plenty of garlic to repel vampires a mile away. I very much enjoyed the Signature LAN Noodle, and crave more as I type this.
Service was great! The staff were friendly & hospitable. Chef Gao humored me by posing for pics & letting me shoot video of his noodle prowess. At the time, there was limited indoor seating, with a few al fresco tables. LAN Noodle is located at the aforementioned Tokyo Central Plaza, next to Dunkin Donuts & Baskin-Robbins.
Seeing Chef Gao make my noodles from scratch, behooves me to appreciate the manpower involved with the creation of my excellent lunch. The quality of the noodles was top-notch, and I left LAN Noodle a happy customer. I'm looking forward to a repeat visit and figuring out just the right type of noodle I care to consume that day. With so many to choose from, the hardest part is which to try...
Read morePlace was kinda small but that's ok, we were seated quickly. Placed our orders and got our sides right away. Almost finished them before our noodles arrived. Waitress dropped our food while putting it on our table and apologized but.. my tofu đ. Didn't offer a way to make it right. The rest of my table got their food about 10 min after our sides were brought out. I waited another 20 min before my own bowl of noodles was brought out (everyone else had finished eating đĽ˛). Had to hunt a server down and they just kinda dismissed us. Food wise, meh. I got the thick cut noodles but really I think it was just 1 long noodle (whole table got the same cut of noodle and everyone agreed it seemed like 1 extra long noodle. My mom joked we should be eating this on our bday). Meat was stuck in my teeth and you can't break it apart with chopsticks, so tender is not the word I'd use. They also don't provide soup spoons, just regular silverware spoons you'd find in a regular western restaurant. Very hard to eat soup noodles with. The toppings weren't mustard greens but spinach... left my mouth feeling weird (nothing to do with the chili). Anyways I ordered a combo and when I got my food way later than everyone else I couldn't find my tea egg. Asked the Waitress about it and I guess she finally felt bad about something and she offered to give me 2. Honestly at that point the experience was just kinda not great for me and I lost my appetite. Asked for a box and then saw extra charges to our combo meals. Apparently when they say drinks included it only means hot tea or fountain drink, which is fair but a warning would've been nice. Wouldn't accept our unopened/untouched JDB for a refund. Not sure if Arcadia location is better but I would never come back here or recommend it to...
