service date and time: 06/14/2025 at 1:52am. I came for my morning coffee on my way to work. Rest assure I avoid conflict at all times. The manager on this shift, CLARISSA, was very RUDE. I am at the monitor about to get my order taken they asked me to wait. fine, I did not mind. I waited about 1 minute. I asked for a FRESHED brewed coffee. Only because I was not sure how long they had their coffee sitting there. Then I pulled to the second window and there was a car infront of me, waited about 2 minutes. Fine, I was okay with that because I knew I had requested a fresh coffee. I pulled up to window and seen they had just put the coffee to brew & my inner thoughts was that’s good that they’re actually brewing a coffee. She did not let the coffee finish brewing and was serving me the start of the brewing which I know it is very bitter because you aren’t allowing for the coffee to finish brewing. I told her I did not want the start of the coffee I would like for it to finish brewing for it to be served and not taste bitter. She asked me to pull forward. my guess would be because there was a car in the back. I kindly told her, no. She stated the coffee would take 5 minutes to brew and was demonstrating with her fingers 5 minutes, like if I did not know what 5 minutes are. I told her I wanted to see through the window that I was not getting the coffee that was initially being served and that I would not move. I also stated the coffee takes 5 minutes but could have been brewed since the moment I asked for it fresh and not the moment I was about to pay. The manager did not even have the next order ready for it to make sense for me to pull forward. The manager stated she would not serve me for the day and I would not get my coffee!! imagine you are going to work very early and need your morning coffee and because a manager has had a long shift, they decide to take out their frustration on you. all I can say is, kill them...

Also they close the dining room and use COVID19 as an excuse.
The service isn't the best, and I wouldn't even begin to say they go above and beyond. There are some workers here that work harder than others and it's pretty obvious.
You'll be rolling the dice on service at this place.
Update 02/22: I had to downgrade to 1 star because rhey made the experience worse by having the doors locked during business hours.
Update 03/22: I have to ask myself why I keep coming here and it's only because of convenience. Got a sugar free vanilla iced coffee. It was terrible. I couldn't drink any of it. They deserve 1 star. Avoid this McDonald's if you can, or don't order McCafe drinks from here. To make matters worse, the toilet stall didn't have any toilet paper.
Update 09/23 service has been improved a little bit but they still need lots of work. Drive thru is restricted to one lane at night when they're busy, not sure why. They need to increase their staff to provide faster service. Also the menu boards are ruined so you can't see the menu. Read moreI don’t normally review large chains like McDonald’s. For the most part, all large chains like McDonald’s have been a good experience for me.
This particular McDonald’s is a shi* show every time I go. Every time I go, I hope thy it’s better, but it never is. Luckily for me, the next closest McDonald’s is 1 minute further than this one.
What makes this McDonald’s so bad: literally nobody employed here seems to be working efficiently. No real care for customer’s time. Doesn’t seem like they communicate with each other. Slow service (comparing with another local McDonald’s off of Azusa and Amar). they are understaffed. Even if they were staffed properly, management doesn’t seem to care. the facilities. One of the first screens you see is bubbling. Then the main screen menu in the drive-thrus are glitching out. Have observed a cashier with gloves on handle food then money, then food again… without a hand wash in between. The gloves aren’t worn to prevent the workers hands from getting dirty. The worker should have tossed the gloves before handling food again.
Gave 2* rather than 1*, because the food still tasted how it’s supposed to taste. But FFS, I’ll try this location again...
