Four words can summarize my experiences at the Boiling Crab restaurant : comforty , deliciously Messy , and satisfying . As a first timer dining at here , I am quite nervous at the begining as I wonder how and what should I order ? Once we were greeted by the friendly hosts who is very experienced and asked us if we were the first timer , once he know we are indeed the first timer , he gave us detailed infos on how the restaurant operate and he lead us to a comfortable booth . The second host came over and with smiles and she took over five mintunues explaining to us how to order on the menu , what kind of seafoods the restaurant offer and she even gave us recommendations on the most pupular items . Our server Jared is polite and attentive and refill our drinks constantly .
We ordered the Gumbo Soup and two lbs Canjun shrimp ,with potato and corn . The Gumbo soup is full of seafood flavours with shrimp and mashed sausages. The combination of the soup is perfect in taste and satisfying in contents . The Canjun style shrimp is just fantastic and amazing . Of the blend of spices , of the combinations of seasoning , of the extra juiciness , we lost our self in enjoying the delicious shrimps that are so tender , full of flavours . I can't help licking my fingers for that magic and tasty juicy . Don't judge us the messiness , it is deliciously Messy .
I am very satisfied with the whole dining experiences , the wait to dine in is less than 10 mins ; the hosts and servers are well trained and polite . I enjoyed the inside the environments that is cozy , spacious and welcoming . We left this wonderful restaurant with full satisfications , not just our stomaches , but full experiences . At this point you are frustrated and sensitive to anything. Manager was not as sensitive, they need to realize people are tired and hungry and just need to be fed and happy. Just a simple example, the waiter made a mistake when they put down the fries order, they swapped the order with two different people. The other person already dug in. I got plain fries which wasn't that good. Server came by, tried to find out what happened, then sent manager to find out what happened, then the manager was like do you want another lemon pepper fries, I said yes. We were eight people and a little boy and a stroller. we put our name on Yelp for the waiting list, and on Yelp, they don't offer more than 6 people when we arrived we update the number, and they told us we have to wait for an extra 38 minutes and we said that is fine and after we wait 2 hours and 15 minutes they put us on a small table for 6 people when we asked for the manager, she came and very rudely said "this is what we have if you don't like it you can leave" 2 of our party left because they didn't fit at the table, we saw an open booth that fits us all and she said the party is already coming to be seated there and they were only 4 people.
