Update: We've been to this location at least 10 times now. Our salads have been made 10 different ways (different portions, missing ingredients, incorrect bowl size etc.). Never a consistent experience with product or pricing. This place has a chance of making it if they better trained folks. If you ask for a salad off the board, sometimes you get what you asked for and sometimes it's a surprise. However, this location will surely close before they really get their footing. It's sad- it's such a great chain. We see it happen here often though; customers care about consistency and quality, both of which are severely lacking here. We love the Glastonbury location and will continue to go there instead. ................. The food is great. It's standard if you've been to other Chopt locations. Service is incredibly difficult. Everyone is very nice, but they need more training. It takes a long time for them to get through lines. Today, there were only two people in front of me and it took 15 min until it was my turn. The male manager who is there has no idea what he's doing. Nice guy but would be better off managing and not trying to serve food. I know this location is new so I can appreciate that it takes some time to get in a groove but it's clear that maybe a few more training sessions would really help elevate this location especially in terms of getting a consistent experience. The workers look so nervous. I encourage others to be patient with them and I remind myself the same thing but please, someone come help...
Read moreSalad is one of my favorite foods, and I was so excited to have this place open nearby, but it's once and done for me. I really dislike Panera, but it's actually the much better option at Bishop's Corner for a salad. None of their salad menu items sound particularly appealing to me. There is always one or two things I don't like and then if you remove them, there really isn't much left to the salad. I tried a make my own, and it was a terrible value. Not much to it and very expensive. The worst is the chicken. It's the consistency of canned drained tuna, chopped very fine. Who wants a cat food salad? Unless you walk or park behind by Target and come up the stairs, the parking is not very good either. If I am going to spend $15 or $16 for a salad, I really expect a bit more. Better choices are a sit-down restaurant rather than eating from a cardboard cup or get a bagged salad mix at Big y for 1/3 the price. I doubt...
Read moreOk so I ordered the bacon ranch salad. I removed some ingredients. The ingredients I kept was just the romaine obviously the crispy chicken tomatoes and pickled onions. The chicken was very bland the salad was loaded with lettuce and not much of everything else
I also ordered a Caesar wrap same thing very bland. Everything was bland. Maybe they donât use salt because this is a healthy place.
The plus side is the have a dressing called Mexican goodness and that it is. That dressing helped the blandness of the salad and the wrap. I donât know exact ingredients but itâs giving avocado, cilantro, garlic and some spice highly recommend it.
All in all I will order/visit this place again...
