Yesterday I was told that this store had nice Alex and Ani bracelets..So I thought to myself hey I’ve been wanting to start my collection why not now!? When I arrived at the store I was greeted as if the experience would be at least good if not great! I asked for help as far as where the bracelets were held. The lady was helpful she even pointed out the ones that were 40% off which were held in two baskets separate from the original priced ones. Now I am well aware of how expensive these bracelets can go but hey I’ll grab a few on sale if possible who doesn’t love a sale! I stood there fishing threw these baskets which seemed like forever I found 4 that were in the 40% off basket. I waited in line behind another customer. When she was done being helped another customer came and the cashier dismissed the fact that I was standing there first! Did I notice absolutely but I didn’t feel like having my day upset over one person the other customer who came after me did acknowledge me being there first but the cashier which I found out afterwards was really a manager! So the lady rings me up and none out of the 4 bracelets I picked were on sale. So I told the lady hold on I want to pick at least 3 out of the four but I also wanted to find a few on sale. I went back to the bucket selected four more as I’m doing this the manager comes and puts the bracelets I had brought up first back on the shelf. I told her I had want to still take a few even though they weren’t on sale. I came with the other four and once again ALL NOT ON SALE! What I didn’t understand was why was there a big 40% off sign if they weren’t gonna honor the sale!? I asked for a manager she explained she was and I told her that I wasn’t expecting her to discount all 8 bracelets but she could at least honor one I had spent all that time fishing through baskets that should have been marked down. I didn’t feel it was my job to separate and guess which ones were on sale. I did find a couple eventually but that was besides the point! So as we go back n forth not coming to an agreement the other lady goes and rips the sign off and checks all bracelets which she found most of the basket wasn’t marked down! Moral of the story they don’t go by the customer is always right! I felt like the lady didn’t want to deal with me anyways. I felt that she assumed that I didn’t have the money to afford these bracelets and I wasn’t treated as kind as the other two customers I seen her interact with! I told them that the experience was horrible for my first time and it would be my last! Last time I check no matter who or what you are EVERYBODY MONEY IS STILL GREEN! I’ll never ever bring my business there again and I will make sure when people ask me where did I get my bracelets I will tell them but also how they judge ur pockets all because you want something that has a big sign with 40% off! I’m Livid and it’s still on my mind at 3 am the next morning so I had to write this review! I was so upset I didn’t even let her box up the 3 I did buy. I Feel that if this situation happened to the customers before me which weren’t black it would’ve been handled differently my opinion just wanted to put this out there.. This world is so...
Read moreVisited this store for the first time a few days ago, was looking for a grid notebook for myself and an address book for my mom. An associate came over and asked what I was looking for and gave me a few pointers, everything was fine. I started looking at different items, took some pictures to send my mom, opened a few journals to check the paper. Some five minutes later the same associate came to check if I found what I was looking for, I said I'm still browsing. Almost immediately after she came again to ask if I found an address book. At that point I was beginning to feel pressured to hurry up. I didn't like this at all. Stationery stores are a bit of my comfort place and I love to just look at things, sometimes for a long time, before I buy something. I really don't need someone to be all up in my business every couple minutes. I understand it must be the policy and not the associate's fault, but I was made to feel uncomfortable. I wanted to check out some other areas as the store is large and seems to have a good selection, but as soon as I made a step towards apparel I felt the eyes on me again. I didn't want to be shadowed again and left the store without buying...
Read moreWent in to look for a gift. The woman who checked me out for my purchase was very snotty and rude. I know I had a Hallmark card, but she was less than helpful figuring out why it wouldn't work when she plugged in my phone number and ignored me when I asked to sign up again. I found out later from friends her name was Denine(sp). She had short whitish blonde curly hair. I work in a dental office and this behavior would never be tolerated. She should definitely not be in...
