KT Bakery in Hartford, CT is not only known for their exceptional bread and pastries, but also for their delicious Vietnamese cuisine and desserts. Their Vietnamese menu features a range of authentic and flavorful dishes such as banh mi sandwiches, pho noodle soup, bun cha grilled pork, and more. Each dish is made with fresh ingredients and cooked to perfection, resulting in a delicious and satisfying meal. Their desserts are also a must-try, with options such as banh chuoi nuong (baked banana cake), che ba mau (a sweet dessert soup with beans, coconut cream, and jelly), and pandan waffles. These desserts are a perfect way to end your meal on a sweet note and give you a taste of traditional Vietnamese sweets. The staff at KT Bakery is knowledgeable about the menu and always happy to offer recommendations or answer any questions you may have. They take pride in their Vietnamese cuisine and desserts and ensure that each dish is made with care and attention to detail. Overall, KT Bakery in Hartford, CT is a fantastic spot to indulge in not only their amazing bread and pastries, but also their authentic and delicious Vietnamese cuisine and desserts. Highly recommended for anyone looking to explore new flavors and experience traditional Vietnamese dishes.

I haven't tried the sandwiches yet, but have sampled several of the desserts from the chiller. The staff were friendly & more than willing to explain what went into the different puddings & jellies. The coconut jelly & mango pudding were both very good, but I was really blown away by the "Che Ba Mau” -- a bed of beans, topped with a layer of variously colored and flavored jellies, then finished with ice, coconut milk, & peanuts. The textures & flavors all came together in a way that is perfectly WOW. Anyway, the store itself is very small -- meant more for grab & go purchases -- but there is a little outdoor seating overlooking the road if you want to chill. Cash & credit accepted. Handicapped parking & an easily accessed ramp.

This place is incredible and has the best Vietnamese desserts. I was craving durian crepes, a dessert that I’ve only had in Vietnam and was searching somewhere nearby that had them. Guess what! KT had them! And they were incredibly delicious. I love that they offer so many hard to find desserts. They also do really great cakes. My mom always orders one for me for my birthday that is layered with taro and durian. Really kind people who run the place too.

My Lord, the freshest, tastiest food in the shabbiest-looking place! But you can’t beat a delicious authentic Banh mi at $6 with generous portion that fills you up just right. The bread is super crunchy, and inside you have the freshest cucumber, pickled veggies, herbs, a variety of tasty Vietnamese deli meat (and lemongrass grilled beef if you order the special), patê, and creamy aioli that ties everything together nicely. Highly recommend the Roasted pork& Viet ham Banh Mi. Desserts are very authentic as well. I hope that the store owner will renovate the place, because the store is stuffy and full of old-style decorations. A small sign for dessert name and price would...
