I haven't tried the sandwiches yet, but have sampled several of the desserts from the chiller. The staff were friendly & more than willing to explain what went into the different puddings & jellies. The coconut jelly & mango pudding were both very good, but I was really blown away by the "Che Ba Mau” -- a bed of beans, topped with a layer of variously colored and flavored jellies, then finished with ice, coconut milk, & peanuts. The textures & flavors all came together in a way that is perfectly WOW.

My Lord, the freshest, tastiest food in the shabbiest-looking place! But you can’t beat a delicious authentic Banh mi at $6 with generous portion that fills you up just right. The bread is super crunchy, and inside you have the freshest cucumber, pickled veggies, herbs, a variety of tasty Vietnamese deli meat (and lemongrass grilled beef if you order the special), patê, and creamy aioli that ties everything together nicely.
