Just went for happy hour and wow wow wow was I pleasantly surprised. For drinks I had the spiced daisy with mezcal. It was SO good. It was refreshing with a kick. I’m usually on the hunt for a good spicy mezcal drink and this has made it to the top of my LA list. For food I had the birria tacos. WOW. SO MUCH FLAVOR. The 2 tacos were filling and satisfying. The outdoor area had a cool garden feel to it. They had some flies/mosquitos which wasn’t optimal but hopefully it’s temporary. Insider deets: they have a DJ Friday and Saturdays during pride month.

We love Las Perlas! Daily happy hour, great margaritas, and a nice little greenhouse-vibe patio in the back. You can also order food in the back through Walking Spanish- we tried the taco sampler (steak, pork, chicken, mushroom) and the guacamole. The chicken taco was my favorite but all four were delicious.

UPDATE: I am now a regular. This place is perfect. Staff is great. Drinks and food are amazing. Vibes are immaculate.

FIRST TIME: Okay. I was here last night. I just moved around the corner. I might move into this bar, instead. Happy Hour is solid. The bartender was amazing. The drinks are fantastic. And the place is gorgeous. It was popping but not slammed on a Thursday evening, which is exactly the crowd I want. The music is a vibe in the best possible way.

Met up with some friends and we ended up snagging a table in the back patio after I beat them there and posted up at the bar for a while. Oh yeah! They have this sort of indoor/outdoor patio in what feels like the middle of the joint. Up the stairs and around the corner from the bar. That's also where you order food.

The food is technically a different business, but is also fantastic!!!

I will be back. You know. Because I...

What just happened? My hubby and I loved this place for the drinks and the tacos.

We stopped by today and we found out that they do not have Tacos anymore. They have pupusas. We wanted to try it out before we made up our minds. Well! we should have just left. The asada pupusa was made with really low quality meet. The Korean one, had no protein at all. One that was ok, was the cheese. And it was more like cheese quesadilla. I will drive to SD for the tacos they had at this place. Sorry but not sorry! I will not eat at this place again. I will stop by for a drink....
