I purchased food here and excess of $20. I asked for a cup of water which is required by state law.
The Cashier said that they don’t have water cups. I asked for a kids cup they denied that as well.
I asked the manager Mauricio for a water cup, and he said that they don’t have any, I informed him in the state law to provide water cups to anyone asking for water as a food establishment in the state of California.
He became argumentative with me in front of the other customers, As well as the other Staff, including the cashier. Really bad customer service. I am a pain customer. I’m not a 15-year-old trying to steal soda or a homeless person.
He then proceeded to ignore me and take orders, not doing his job as a manager to give good customer service to a paying patron which is against panda express customs, Also against state law, therefore opening up Panda Express to liability for violating state law. I have submitted a grievance with the state of California in regards to this. This is a Blatant violation of health and safety.
The staff need to get educated as well as this manager regarding human decency and state law to patrons
Panda express corporate need to get this taken care of immediately and train their manager and staff on basic human decency and state law..
This place is extremely expensive even to park is $35, I did not see one homeless person in the vicinity. I’m pretty sure the deputies of the Los Angeles County sheriffs department and the security have that taken care of there is no...
Read moreHad lunch here today while visiting Universal. Much better selection than in the park and cheaper too! My sister and I shared the 3 item combo. We had the orange chicken, black pepper chicken (my sister's choice-she likes spicy), and teriyaki sauce. Our side was chow mein. You can get 1/2 chow mein and 1/2 rice or veggies if you want.
Panda is located on the upper level of City Walk and takes a few minutes to get there from Universal. Also there is Pinks, Taco Bell, Pizza Hut, Subway, Poke, and Smash Burger. There is plenty of sitting on different levels. Partial shade.
My sister was super happy to see the black pepper chicken. It wasn't listed on the menu. The price for the 3 item combs was just under $10. An excellent deal for lunch for 2! Unfortunately the food was just warm, not hot. Maybe they need to bump up the temp of the water under the trays?
A few things... this was the first time that the server, at Panda, didn't chop up the chicken teriyaki after I ordered. She picked out already small pieces from the dish of larger pieces. Also she did not ask if I wanted "sauce on top" and when I asked for it she said it would be better on the side. Hmm? Also the Orange Chicken had a few pieces that were stuck to gather making for one very large piece of chicken.
Also a personal negative for me this Panda had Pepsi products. I like Diet Coke. If they don't have it I get water-non bottled.
I would return to this location again, however, if the food isn't hot, I will return...
Read moreIf I could give this place half a star I would!! Just took my family ( Husband & 2 daughters) to Universal Studios yesterday and we ate here. The food was absolutely disgraceful and over priced. There are only few options with very few combinations. It operates poorly like a high school cafeteria! They slide you a plate, a literal plate, with TINY portions on it! There are no boxes/trays for your meals like at a normal Panda Express. You are forced to either eat there at their filthy inside/outside tables that are never sanitized or wiped down, OR you can request the cashier provide you with a piece of FOIL PAPER to cover your food with and eat it elsewhere at the park. By the time you get to the register to pay after 50people asking for souvenir cup refills hop in front of the line, your food is cold. It was the most ghetto, penny pinching experience I ever had at an amusement park. With the millions of dollars Universal Studios makes DAILY, it is dissatisfying and out right ridiculous that they don’t even use some of that money to invest in proper necessities for their basic restaurants like Panda Express. Felt like I was in line at a back yard BBQ that ended up costing $40 for just two plates with minimal, cold portion sizes! In the middle of a recession for a family of four this is outrageous. Universal Studios, Panda Express, you can do better than this. Your customers deserve better for what we are paying. Definition...
