Super sad things haven't worked in our favor. This was our second attempt at the new West Jordan location. First try was closer to opening day so we assumed they needed to work some things out. Waited about 25 min for the drive through just to get home and had the pork missing from our 3 meat meal but we were willing to give them another shot as the food flavor was great. Tonight, however, was rough. We waited 35+ min in drive through with 6 cars in front of us before we got to the window and paid. Then continued to wait until they came and told us that the steak we paid extra for was going to be another 10-15 min. We opted to have more teriyaki chicken instead of waiting but that didn't seem to speed things up as we still waited close to 10 min before we got our meal in hand. They were extremely nice and apologetic and did offer us free drinks for the inconvenience but, over all, waiting 45+ min in a drive through was a little tough. We were also charged for the steak and not refunded but we did get complimentary drinks so we'll call that a wash. The food is DELICIOUS which is why I will give 3 stars but the food service needs more management. The employees were nice, had great smiles and helpful which was nice. It will be a little while before we return to this location as it seems they still have some things to work out. I wouldn't recommend this as a place to come if you are hungry and grabbing food on the way home. Just go home and cook instead-...
Read moreMoâBettahs in West Jordan is absolutely fantastic! The food is consistently amazing, with authentic Hawaiian flavors that keep me coming back for more. Every dish is fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cookedâitâs clear they use high-quality ingredients. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, creating an atmosphere that feels like family.
The kalua pork is a must! I also like the steak or any of the three chicken options to go with the pork. And donât get me started on the mac salad! And be sure to get some musubi too!
The general manager Karl deserves a special shoutout for the pride he takes in the restaurant. Itâs reflected in everything, from the top-notch service to the care put into every plate. I overheard him giving feedback to an employee and praising them for the work they were doing which really added to the atmosphere.
You can always count on a great meal here, no matter when you visit. If youâre craving Hawaiian food thatâs full of flavor and served with aloha spirit, MoâBettahs is the...
Read moreI was excited when this location opened and have now been able to visit. I was disappointed in the amount of meat in the Finau Favorite. I was also charged an additional $2 for teriyaki sauce, it could have been on the menu as an additional cost and I just didnât see it so maybe thatâs my fault. Essentially my plate of food came to slightly less than $22. For the amount of meat on the plate it was very over priced. Iâve had this before at a different location and in comparison the amount of meat served is not even close. The food is very good but at this price point I probably wonât come back. Also, get rid of the tipping suggestion. Your employees earn good money for what they do and you certainly charge more than the value of food served. I have boycotted a small number of places for this reason alone. 20 - 30% tipping should be reserved for servers who earn servers wages. Here in Utah that may be less than $3 per hour. Steak houses, Olive Garden, etc, not for $18 per...
