Lately they can't get your order right. Tonight was my last straw with this location. I get my food, everything seems right when I check in the bag, but when I get it home the daves double was a chicken sandwich, and the jr cheeseburger wasn't made the way it was ordered.
Last night I was also there, the only reason I didn't leave was because the others in my house really wanted it. It took nearly 45 minutes to go through drive-thru. The ridiculous part about it was there was only 8 cars ahead of me. Meanwhile next door at Del Taco I watched car after car go through.
Between the inability to get orders right, their lack of concern to get drive-thru moving, and the guy that usually is there during the day that has nothing better to do than complain about his job (which he has done for years now) I would stay away from here. Just like the McDonalds down the road lost my patronage 7 years ago, this Wendy's has now done the same. Get it together, or you will lose more business to Del Taco, Panda Express, Taco Bell, Wienerschnitzel, Little Ceasars, Burger King, Five Guys, Arby's, Carl's Jr, Popeyes, Apollo Buger, the 2 McDonald's, and the many other eating establishments that are all within a 5-8 minute...
Read moreUpdate 8/14/25. They always give expired sour cream with your baked potatoes. So make sure to double check if you order a baked potato . I have had this happen 3 times, and each time my order was a DoorDash delivery, so unfortunately couldn’t check the expiration date.
Food was good, hot and fresh. The service is lacking at this location. Had a mobile pick up order and was missing 3 items. We were ignored at the open window for a while after receiving our bag of food and drinks. Finally they came back to the window and we let them know about the 2 missing frosty’s (we thought maybe they were still making them), but that wasn’t the case and not the reason we were ignored. Parked and noticed we were also missing an order of nuggets. Walked inside and was ignored at the register for a while as well. They resolved the issue with all the missing items, but no apology and didn’t say word to us the entire time (just handed us our items). They need to work on acknowledging and speaking to the customers. Maybe this was just an off day (happens to the best of us). Overall I would try this location again as the food was...
Read moreMy wife and I visited the Wendy’s at 6828 S Redwood yesterday, and sadly, the experience was disappointing. When we arrived, we noticed the parking lot was almost empty—my wife even questioned whether we should go somewhere else. In hindsight, we probably should have.
I ordered the $8 JBC combo, and my wife got the Son of Baconator combo. Unfortunately, both meals were cold. The burgers tasted like they’d been sitting in a fridge, not freshly made. The bun on mine was noticeably hard, and the patty seemed smaller than ever. I couldn’t help but think, “Where’s the beef?”—which is ironically one of Wendy’s most iconic slogans.
The fries were lukewarm at best, and definitely not hot or fresh. Even the soda machine was underwhelming—several drink options were unavailable, likely because the syrup had run out.
Wendy’s used to be one of my go-to spots for quality fast food, but it really feels like they’re cutting corners lately. This location in particular left us feeling like we wasted our time and money. Hope they can turn...
