Chick-fil-A — Restaurant in West Lafayette

Chick-fil-A is, in my opinion, the best fast food restaurant (if you disagree, it's still unarguably among the elite class of restaurants). The food is delicious, the service is certainly unmatched to any other fast food restaurant. (I have never once out of many years of going to Chick-fil-A encountered an annoyed employee. Contrast that to a certain other franchise with yellow arches....) This is the kind of restaurant where you want to sit down and hang out with people, not rush away past the drive through, that is to say that it has an environment that you almost seek for in every restaurant that you go to. They are very fast and efficient, so much to the point where it’s legitimately impressive. However, the people that work here are the rudest of any chick fil a I’ve ever been at. I get that it’s in the middle of campus so it’s super busy, but that shouldn’t mean it should be this bad, like I order here all the time, and half of the time they don’t even look me in the eye when I pick up my order. I’ve even begun tallying how often they don’t say “my pleasure” when I say thank you, and it’s nearing 50% of the time. Also there’s one manager, next time I’m gonna catch her name, who always looks miserable and never even responds when someone...

Went today for the first time. Overall a positive experience with the lines moving super quick and great service with a smile. However, there was not enough space to social distance as there was tons of students there grabbing lunch. They had only two spots marked on the floor where those waiting for food could stand. The outdoor seating area was great with ample space, and lots more room to sit nearby on grassy areas. Another disappointment was no kids menu. Some grad students have...
