Had an absolutely terrifying experience! Usually come to this location very frequently, food is always on par and timing is efficient. However, my latest experience was an absolute nightmare. Went through drive thru and ordered my food and drinks , received it shortly after. Left and proceeded to go home. Not even 5 minutes into my drive, I start to notice error messages coming up on my vehicle, I continue Home less than a mile down the road where I am greeted with Pepsi saturating my entire middle console of my vehicle where my gear selector and infotainment controls are housed. The drink remained untouched in my cup holder the entire ride. The top to my drink wasnât placed on properly by the staff and leaked all over. In short, the entire console shorted out and my vehicle had to be towed to BMW where repairs will cost upwards of $3-4k. Taco Bell management quickly swept their hands free of any liability, saying once it leaves the drive thru window it is no longer their property. CCTV video that was used to analyze the encounter and determine they werenât liable, of course could not be released to me for my own viewing. I was offered $20 in compensation in addition to my original payment refunded. An admission of guilt but short of liability in my humble opinion. I am extremely upset about the entire situation. I just want my vehicle repaired. Iâve patronized countless other fast food drive thru establishments (F.E: Chic-Fa-La, McDonaldâs, Wendyâs, ETC) where Iâve never encountered such issues. It all boils down to lack of training and solicitude. No accountability for employees actions whatsoever, from the top, down, Iâve witnessed nothing but absolute carelessness thus far. I can't begin to describe how amazing this one server is behind the counter when I am either going through drive through or ordering inside. He goes above and behind to make sure I feel special and human. It's something that has truly been lost over the spand of time. People don't realize that little extra can boost someone's day can just make them smile and shine some sunshine to their day! He wears the taco hat proudly. He has an awesome personality and amazing customer service! I love coming here just to see him and his smile that makes my day seem so much brighter. He is a star for sure!
