The reasoning for my email is that yesterday at 9:26 p.m., I placed an order at Burger King at 1895 West Haven Avenues through the drive-through. When I approached the intercom. I was informed by a co-worker that they did not have any shakes because their machine was not working. I said, Okay, can I get a refund? They informed me that they cannot give me a refund because the order was placed online, and I have to go through the app because the app is from a third party. I said okay, I will take the sandwich, which I paid for; however, the fries were free. The guy at the window told me it would take six minutes for the chicken sandwich. I waited six minutes. When I received the food, it was the incorrect sandwich. I went back into the drive-thru and informed them that the sandwich was wrong. That’s when they proceeded to tell me they didn’t have the spicy chicken sandwich that I ordered and was on the receipt. I said, Why didn’t you guys say that before bringing me the food? They assumed that’s what I wanted. The bun was not toasted; they just put the sauce on the sandwich, and that was it. When I pulled up to the drive-through window the first time, the workers were talking; they didn’t even pay me any attention. When I went back around, they were still chatting and laughing, which was highly unprofessional. Regardless of what happens, try getting my money back from the app. The Burger King app was trying to give me a 10-dollar coupon, but I did not want it. A customer service representative named Jessica mentioned the coupon again. Keep in mind that I didn’t receive the sandwich I ordered because they didn’t have any spicy meat for the sandwich, and the Oreo shake I wanted. Jessica informed me that she could not give me a refund and could only offer a coupon in this situation. I felt robbed because I didn't receive what I wanted. I want my money back, not the coupon, because I do not feel safe ordering from Buger King if this is the way a customer will be treated if they use the app and receive nothing or the wrong item. I tried reaching out again through the app, but I still didn’t get any response. Or even if I didn’t get the money back, the coupon didn’t even apply to my account. Read moreThis place is absolutely awful. The workers are incredibly rude to me every time I've gone so far. The last two times I went, they actually tried to ignore me. The first instance, I was in the drive thru line and I was behind 3 other cars and I hadn't ordered yet. One of the workers came out and put buckets in front of my car (my car only) and told me I had to go inside if I wanted to order. He never gave me a reason either so I decided not to stick around that night. Then tonight, I went and pulled up to the drive thru speaker to order and nobody answered for a solid 5 minutes and I decided not to wait agndnd see if anyone would. Someone was behind me so I drove thru the line and looked inside of the window and saw workers inside and noticed that it wasn't time for the restaurant to close yet. I pulled around to the front and sat in my car for a moment and noticed that the people who were behind me in line had parked and one of the people in the car got out and was walking up to the door and it was locked I guess because he waved and knocked and no one came to answer. He shrugged and walked away and noticed me in my car and made an "I have no idea" gesture. I waited a moment longer and a worker came outside and I rolled my window down and asked if they were closing early tonight. He said, "No. Why what happened?" And I started to tell him but before I could say a full sentence, he told me to go back through the drive thru. I went through and a lady answered after a moment and I ordered my food, a whopper meal medium with no pickles or onions. I pulled up to the window and the girls working inside were on their phones for a moment and then the lady opened the window. She told me my total, I gave her my money, she gave me my change. But then she tried to give me a small drink and I asked her "Sorry, didn't I order a medium meal?" She looked annoyed and went and got the right drink. I was on my way home and decided to have a fry. The fries were very stale. Then I got home and noticed my burger had no tomatoes on it either, which, I did not ask them to remove from the burger. And another time before I also received stale fries, a burger without tomatoes on it and the wrong drink entirely. Read moreAfter a 5 hour drive back home we didn’t want to cook so we decided to swing into Burger King for the first time this year. Wasn’t greeted in the drive thru for a few minutes. I spoke up to ask if anyone was there and was informed that they are some how super short staffed and to just give them a few minutes. There was one person ahead of us who got their food as soon as pulled up and ONLY 2 other cars in the parking lot. We waited an additional 10 minutes and asked if anyone was there again and had a rude lady come over the intercom and mention they were still short staffed and “filling orders” when there was literally no one ordering food or in the restaurant. After exactly another 10 minutes of waiting (by this time we had been there for 25 minutes) we asked if we would be able to place our order soon and the woman with even more attitude said that we should just go somewhere else to eat as it would be another 10+ minutes before we could even order? Since I’m not an idiot and could notice only 2 cars in the parking lot and no one had been infront of us at all that this girl was clearly lying. It is insane to think after a 5 hour drive we sat in the drive thru for 25 minutes before being told we should go eat somewhere else. This incident happened today on 6/15/2025 at around 2pm so who ever is in charge there can address that the employees are just advising people To eat else where. When we drove off I went inside to see if there was something I was missing and nope, there were atleast 2 employees working and not 1 SINGLE CUSTOMER IN THE STORE. Super embarrassing on their part.
