Arby's — Restaurant in West Mifflin

Mostly known for their meats and curly fries, they have recently introduced crinkle fries and a spicy version of their Gyro sandwich. Since I am a fan of their regular Gyro sandwich, and wanted to try the crinkle fries, I was looking for an opportunity to stop by for a taste. That opportunity arrived.

This location is immaculate and the employees are first rate. When I ordered my food, the employee who took my order punched in curly fries – probably because he misheard me due to my wearing a mask. When I noticed that, and pointed it out to the employee who gave me my food, that employee immediately turned around and got another bag, loaded it with crinkle fries, asked me what sauces I wanted for the crinkle fries, and did not even take the curly fries back. Major kudos to store management for excellent customer service training!

The crinkle fries were good. However, they were not as unique as the curly fries so I am not sure whether I will go out of my way to get them again. Arby’s curly fries are much more unique in the world of fast food places. The spicy gyro sandwich is their normal gyro sandwich with an added splash of some sort of spicy sauce. It was a nice addition and I will definitely do that version in the future.

As I wrote above, the place itself is immaculate. The dining room is open (unlike what Google Maps shows) and I enjoyed eating inside and observing the employees in action. Arby’s – and this location – have definitely got things...

Not friendly at all. I first asked for potato cakes whi h I just had a few days ago. Lady who looked like she ouks of been the night manager says no we don't have them anymore. So I asked if they still had crinkle fries she didn't give me an answer just said small medium or large. So I said medium. She gives me the bag and there are curly fries in the bag. I said I wanted the crinkle cut. I hate the curly fries I wouldn't of asked if they still had them i know Arby's have carried curly fries since I was a kid. She tells me no you asked for curly fries. Really? So I made a mistake coming here later at night. I was happy that Arby's stays open later now because I get sick of Taco Bell but I don't like being called a liar. So I will not be eating here later in the evening. She did ask me if I wanted crinkle fries but the attitude made me just want to get out of her drive through. I just got done working 12 hours and was looking for a decent meal but I could do without the attitude and arguing over fries. I know...

9-9-23: Delicious Greek gyros and chicken bacon swiss sandwich, curly fries. One suggestion... you need to offer a roast beef sandwich with lettuce, tomato and mayo like rax's big rax back in the day.

8/12/23, 11:30:59am: Fast, friendly, polite, efficient service from Lillian and the team. Food was delicious and hot, take-out order. We enjoyed 2 lamb gyros (2/$7 coupon), the new 3 and 5 hush puppy fish strips, small and medium fries! The new fish strips are good! My small fries seemed a bit skimpy, felt a bit cheated regarding that. We'll be back! We go where we have coupons! :)
