After more than 25 years, I won't be coming back. Not ever. I ordered honey chicken. It's always been the same. Chicken covered in a thick honey sauce. Not this time. I got a box of chicken that's not sauced. A bowl of some soup looking stuff that heals of rice vinegar and has the consistency of water. This is not what I ordered. We called and they just decided to change it. However they didn't care to mention that BEFORE I ordered. I feel ripped off. Such a shame. It was such a nice family business. Different generation I guess. The food isn't the same. It's hasn't been for a little while. I overlooked the other things but not this. This is not acceptable. They say people complained it was soggy. That's because someone is making the sauce different than it always has been. They should have fixed the sauce. Not changed the entire thing. At the very least they could have said something, BEFORE. It's downright disgusting. I can't eat it. I can't get past the strong odor and flavor of vinegar. The chicken itself is too hard to eat on its own. You can see in a comment below by Joshua Foster what it has been for over 25 years. I took a screenshot and added the photo of what I ordered. Now you can see the difference in what I ordered and what I got.

I loved ordering the orange chicken from here but this time I ordered and I received the driest chicken with no sauce that would go on the chicken. I think it’s a different order since there’s like a bread coating layered this time around the chicken. I didn’t check the order when I left becuase when my partner asked the cashier what kind of flavoring would the Lou mein be , she was very rude. The attitude plus heat, I didn’t want to be in there any more than I had to. I’ll consider this a loss. No receipt was available either.

I've tried this place many times. It's right beside my house. The biggest letdown is the inconsistency. It's never the same. Tonight my order was dirty shrimp, and extremely overcooked orange chicken(barely chewable) I think it's leftovers that we're double fried. When it's good it's very good but they obviously don't make it fresh everyday. The fried rice sometimes taste like old grease or just leftovers. As i said i've given it many chances before i wrote my review. A huge disappointment(again)

We ordered a ton of food from here like $85 worth for me and my husband. We have been looking for a new go to chinese place since moving to the Monroe area. Jades Garden was ok and we usually eat there or the panda express when we want something. While the food wasnt bad some of it wasnt exactly what it shoud of been . Like the general tso chicken had zero spice none whatsoever and really not much flavor. It was hard to tell what was what on your plate. We ordered orange chicken, general tso chicken, sesame chicken, beef & green beans, house noodles , sugsr biscuits, egg rolls, crab wanton, fried rice and white rice. The beef and green beans was horrible it was a thick tasteless gravy. I didnt even eat it after 2 bites I threw the whole family sized dish in the trash. The chicken dishes were no perfect but we did eat all of them. The rice wasnt bad. The house noodles were good until biting into the pork which had a strong fishy taste. Im guessing something else in there made it taste that way but I wasnt ready to find out. The first bite I got with that taste I stopped eating it and spit it out so fast my husband wasnt willing to even try his portion. My chickens got that dish. I woukd be willing to give them a second chance on the chicken dishes and order spicy to see the difference. The ladies working were young and rude. Honestly being a take out place if the food improved some I wouldnt even care...

I'm new to the area, I come from a place where we had lots of really good authentic Chinese food. I was excited to try this place from locals who told me it was good. The first time I had it it was fantastic. The sweet and sour chicken with fried rice was delicious and the crab Rangoons are super tasty imo. Great service. The second time was less than satisfactory. We got the same items as last because they were so good thw first time. We get home, about a 25 ish minute drive, we get our food set up... and they forgot one thing. The sweet and sour sauce to my meal. I called and said hey I understand yall were busy but you guys forgot the main thing I needed for my meal and the lady who answered the phone was super mean. Blamed it on the rush they had and offered extra sweet and sour the next time. I declined and just wanted to give a heads up but what kind of offer was that. All in all, the people could probably use some customer service tips but the food is good. I unfortunately didn't have any sauce at home to make work so my fiance ran to get sweet and sour and the duck sauce they forgot for his meal. So not the same, will definitely start checking bags before leaving. Super upset still about the attitude I received, if a customer took the time to call and let know, offer something a little more useful for...
