Asad’s hot chicken was delicious! Upon arrival the place was colorful and vibrant and smelled incredible. I ordered the 2 slider combo ($14.99) which came with 2 sliders and fries and pickles and some of their signature sauce. The sandwiches were so good, the chicken was crispy and spicy, and there was some slaw and some pickles which is a must have for a great fried chicken sandwich. The only constructive criticism I might add for the sandwich is I’m not sure if it was prepared a bit ahead of time or what but I think there could’ve been another element of freshness added to the sandwich it had a more fast food chicken sandwich feel and I think maybe just making sure the coleslaw is added on cold out of the fridge after everything to go with the piping hot chicken it would bring the sandwich from a 9/10 to a 10/10 in terms of chicken sandwiches. The fries I really loved how they added the hot and spicy seasoning on them, I like my fries a little more crispy than how I was served but everyone has their own preference so all in all the fries were good. The pickles seemed extremely fresh and they were great. The Asad’s sauce was pretty good, however it was not my favorite out of the signature sauces made by chicken restaurants, but it was still delicious to dunk my sandwich into. My girlfriend and her friend both thoroughly enjoyed the food as well. Overall this restaurant is a place I would like to revisit again and definitely a place I would recommend to others in the area. Delicious chicken sandwiches and great friendly customer service, clean environment, and...
Read moreSo I ordered the #1 off the menu at 12:30 am (via phone call) to pick up by 1am as i knew they were closing soon. I was driving home from work (in downtown Philly) to home in Plymouth Meeting and it said I will arrive at 12:59am. At those times only Wawa and Asads are open and i wanted some good food. While driving on Ridge Pike I was held up by the Septa passenger train railroad crossing that took 5 mins for some reason and now my GPS said I will arrive at 1:04am. I just knew they would be closed by then. I pull up and sure enough they were closed. I just sat in the parking lot mad that I didn't make it on time and looked on GPS for the next best thing other than Wawa. While waiting a car pulled up next to me and sure enough I recognized the guy from Asads. He asked if I was OK I said yeah I missed u guys. I ordered on the phone and got held up by the train...he said wait...reached in the back seat and said this one is yours. I told him I only have a $20 bill and he said "its ok this one is on the house". Thinking back i shouldve just gave him the whole $20 because that was top tier service AND I KNEW I was getting top tier food. The food was delicious per usual! Still reasonably hot as well. Thank you guys for superb service, nice food presentation, delicious food to eat and the fact you didn't even charge me for it. Even though there is an Asads closer to me on Butler Pike I will only order from the one on Main Street moving...
Read moreI’m still dreaming of this place. Everything was delicious! I got the #4- it’s a slider w a tender and fries and i got the fries loaded. They cut up the tender and put it on top of the regular fries w sauce at no extra cost. They even give you an extra sauce on the side for the slider. Sliders are actually sandwiches. Pieces of chicken (slider/tender) seemed to be the same size- which is probs why it’s called a slider. They are large, fried perfectly, and not dry at all. They have a nice crispy outside batter w a good amount of heat. I recommend the hot- it’s spicy enough but if you want even more heat, go up a level. The slider was good but the loaded fries were next level! I couldn’t really taste the coleslaw on the slider. Pickles were solid.
I came on a Friday at 7pm and the place was packed! I waited 30 minutes for my food and would absolutely wait again. Staff were super nice. The one girl seemed new but was spot on w the estimated wait time. Highly recommend! I cannot wait to come back for the loaded fries. Need to try the banana...
