The Park has done exactly what it set out to accomplish. Revitalizing what was once a great local course with a fresh take on South Florida public golf. I’ve been awaiting the open of The Park for over a year, and after my first round of 18 yesterday and having played the Par 3 with my 2 year old earlier this week, I can attest that so far everything hits the mark. Course: Routing, Green Contours, Bunkering, Waste Areas, and Overall Conditioning are near perfect. I know I played opening weekend so I’ll have played it at its best, but the I would put the greens against any private course in South FL at the moment. Only downside is need for caddies this early into the program. I get the need for early morning caddies to keep pace of play up, but they’re currently charging Top 100 course bag rates for brand new caddies. Christian carried one of our bags, he was great and was experienced enough to justify the charge, but we also had a high schooler carrying one of our bags for $120/bag. He was nice, but gave a handful of bad reads that made the price per bag sting a bit more. A little overzealous, but mentorship and time will help with that I’m sure. Nothing wrong with Jr Caddies, but they should be charged for accordingly. Practice Facilities: Top notch. Friendly staff, very family friendly as each time I’ve been there kids have been enjoying the putting course. Range has TopTracer at each spot, which makes range time much more interactive and insightful. A few ranges have adopted this tech locally and I think it’s a fantastic feature. Chipping area is great too. Par 3: Exactly what the area needed. Fun, short, walkable 9 hole par 3 with REAL greens. Don’t be surprised if you have a few three putts out there if you leave shots in the wrong spot. Challenging, but very fair. My 2 year old “played” it with me opening week and absolutely loved it as I did. Shorter than Hanse’s Cradle up at Pinehurst, but greens are equally as interesting. 9th hole putting green is interesting, but makes for a bit of an anticlimactic finish after a scenic 7th and 8th hole, but will grow on me as I play it more with buddies I’m sure. Food: Restaurant not open yet, but we had a little bit of everything in the menu at the outdoor bar yesterday and all of the food was great. Awesome environment overlooking the 10th tee and 18th hole, as well as the practice facilities. Overall a huge success, and a big job well done to everyone involved at The Park. Looking forward to making tons of memories here with friends and family, and happy to say we have top tier public golf back in our backyard here in West Palm.

Course is nice, particularly because it sits upon some fine public property on sandy dunes perfect for a city golf course. Several blind approach shots with overly sloped greens increases difficulty especially since the course does not provide a daily Pin Sheet. Plastic water bottles in coolers around the course, however ice and water stations would be more convenient for walkers bringing their refillable containers and could reduce plastic waste. Unfortunately the price is too high at a public course for most of the people who work and live here. It was nice being practically the only player on the course and not seeing hardly any divots anywhere on the immaculate grounds, due to the lack of rounds being played during the summer. So sad more locals who work and live here paying taxes to support a city course cannot afford to play it. It’s basically a private city public amenity for wealthy locals and vacationers. Something needs to change, it’s not supposed to be an exclusive country club catering to the wealthy subsidized with the public’s tax dollars. I’ve been here several times weekdays this summer and it is never busy, meaning locals are priced out of enjoying the land they pay taxes on as a city park. Instead of closing the course on Mondays to reduce inventory, how about tiered pricing for unused inventory for locals at off peak times? The summer months should be an opportunity for The Park to express its appreciation for the locals by offering a lower price that would allow more of us to enjoy our public park. How about more rounds per week for more people who can create more revenues and more jobs, instead the course sitting empty and closing down for Mondays? The gate is open, the course says it’s open, but there’s a big invisible Green barrier to entry for most working class tax paying citizens. Come on guys you can let us in, we’re just like you, just a lot thinner wallet.

As a golfer who has been a PGA member and club professional for over 25 years, I can confidently say that The Park Golf Course is a must-add to your list of courses. From the moment you arrive, you're greeted by the friendliest staff—from valet and pro shop personnel to range assistants, caddies, and starters. This is truly one of the most welcoming, unique, and enjoyable rounds of golf you can experience at a public course. I could easily spend an entire day here, utilizing the Top Tracer warm-up area, the 9-hole short course, and the putting green. It’s hard to top this experience—until you actually play the course. Simply incredible. I highly recommend walking the course; at 55 years old, I haven't done much walking in Palm Beach golf courses, but this walk was so easy and enjoyable that I loved every step. If you opt for a caddy, even better! The course is exceptionally friendly off the tee, though you still need to be cautious of the natural sand dunes that line the fairways. The greens are large and receptive, but strategic approach shots are crucial—there are some severe slopes and hazards around the greens that can impact your play, so accuracy is key. The greens were running fast but fair, making long lag putts manageable and rewarding good distance control. This experience ranks among my favorite golf outings of all time. I wholeheartedly recommend adding The Park to your list—you won’t regret it. Prepare for a fantastic day of golf! A big thank you to the entire staff at The Park for making it so memorable!

I get locals being upset because their old reliable cheap Muni was replaced, but if the only options were an expensive golf course or no golf course at all, I think the choice is obvious. People being people and complaining because they like to complain. There are enough options for dirt cheap golf in south Florida. We needed something like The Park to bring world class golf to the public and not kept behind a private members-only wall.

For those here looking for a REAL golf review, this place is an absolute gem. Gil Hanse definitely brought some of his best templates to this course, as several of the holes are jaw-dropping stunners from a playing perspective. What I mean by this is the seamless blending of art, playability, surprise, and challenge in a single hole. And those moments are dispersed perfectly throughout the round to keep the peaks of the round going. This is a FUN and tough course you need to play again and again to master.

We walked with caddies on Wednesday morning and yes it was pricey but yes it was worth it. I’ve played courses across the country and even overseas and the bottom line with golf is you have to pay a premium for premium golf. Great golf is expensive to maintain and deliver consistently. I will gladly come back and pay to play, but it’s obviously not a daily track. This should be a treat for people in the South Florida community, and a destination for those across the State and beyond.

I arrived early at 7 for an 8 am tee time. Amenities were great and the pro shop attendant was helpful. Range was very nice with over 12 targets to hit at. Music was playing.

Caddies were enjoyable and on point with the bags and clubs throughout the round. Shoutout to Trout. Beverage cart came by on several occasions. The walk was pleasant and easy. Greens were lightning quick and rolling true. Fairways were firm and undulating. Multiple shots could be played into greens depending if you wanted to go high or low. Wind will be the major challenger for scoring on the course as it’s not too far from the ocean.

After the round we enjoyed lunch at the outdoor bar. Bartenders kept the fun of the environment going. Definitely a vibe The Park should seek to maintain as time goes on. This is not a stuffy clubhouse feel but rather a vacation or afternoon on the patio feel. Having the 18-hole putting green by the bar is a really cool touch. Nothing fancy on the menu which was fine because the quality was good. Burger was so good I did another one a couple hours later. Nice fresh beer selection too. We then played the 9-hole course. It was a nice pitch and putt style with greens as good as the ones on the real course. Great way to wind down the day.

My only minor and easy critique is there should be some free cold water bottles on the course. Streamsong does a great job of this, with coolers full of ice water on every few holes. Especially with mandatory walking during the summer, this is a must because there’s not a lot of room in a golf bag to store many bottles of water. Even small ones just to chug and keep moving would be greatly appreciated.

Overall, I couldn’t have been more impressed by The Park. This is going to become a legendary golf spot in the South Florida golf scene. A place you could spend an entire day hanging out at with friends. Calling all golfers - get yourselves...

I experienced The Park for the very first time yesterday July 10th. It was a wonderful day of golfing with 3 friends. The overall impression of The Park exceeded my expectations. EVERYONE on the staff who I met and spoke with were friendly , cordial and seemed genuinely interested in answering my questions, assisting me and making sure my Park golfing experience was great. The condition of the course was excellent with green fluffy fairways and tee boxes and very nice greens! We respected the nice condition of the courses and always sanded our divots in the fairways. I wish everyone had that philosophy as I was also filling other divots that weren’t ours!!! The greens were VERY interesting and challenging with the various slopes and levels and size! However I do have some suggestions as a first time “The Park” player. Our foursome felt that the “ next hole” signage and overall course signage could be improved and should have been more obvious as several situations during our round we weren’t sure where the next hole was as there isn’t large enough signs and consistent cart paths to follow to the next hole. Or anywhere for that matter.LOL! And to that point about cart paths…in MANY situations and honestly no where near the greens or obvious “ do not drive on “ areas (but entering the rough area) our golf cart would consistently shut off where we would have to back up( we know this is necessary) to return to the fairway. Because there was really not obvious cart paths to follow we found this to be a constant challenge staying away from the” cart shut off” areas that didn’t seem to be an issue on other golf courses we have played. The tee box length markers need to be repainted especially the “ blue” as sometimes it looked white or mint green as they have likely faded in south Florida sun. Besides these subtle issues all else was enjoyable and we look forward to playing The...
